Ransurian 23 Posted July 16, 2014 I'm pretty OCD about having matching clothing, and at the moment, most Gorka pants look absolutely f*ugly in tandem with most jackets and shirts. Aside from having six inventory slots, they're just not aesthetically pleasing without a matching jacket. :(
BadAsh (DayZ) 1513 Posted July 16, 2014 They are implemented (even found one in a firestation yesterday). But even with the jackets the trousers still looks weird. I am not sure what is up with the diaper cut on them.

For what it's worth, the Gorka attire has become my favorite outfit. :D VERY efficient camouflage as well. The color & tones are perfect for Chernaraus. jurionov37 22 Posted July 16, 2014 some of them actually look good(even tho i wonder why theyre not full camoed, but there are those diaper cuts in one colour on trousers like BadAsh said)i dont know what pattern i had yesterday before i died, but for example when i was prone in grass it actually blended in environment better than TTsKO.TTsKo is better in woodland areas because its too dark i think.on the topic, yes they are already implemented and pretty easy to find at milbases

Aside from having six inventory slots, they're just not aesthetically pleasing without a matching jacket. :( Ofc gorka jackets are in and they look damn fine, just make sure to wear matching pair :-). Found mine mostly in Firestations and barracks. They are implemented (even found one in a firestation yesterday). But even with the jackets the trousers still looks weird. I am not sure what is up with the diaper cut on them. I think this loose fit is because russians use many of military clothing as oversuits. You simply have normal BDU and pull over oversuit that will give you the best camo for given area of operations. This might be quite cost effective solution than having specific BDU for that. I was more referring to the fact that they don't have a camoflage pattern around the crotch area.
Grimey Rick 3417 Posted July 16, 2014 The PautRev Camo is the only decent pattern. All the other ones are fugly.

Dunno, I like how they look like even with those plain areas. But to each his own I guess. Will be nice once we get more army clothing, some western one for a change (heli crashes?). klesh 2423 Posted July 16, 2014 I found one of the jackets the other day, I really like the sort of loose overjacket poncho with elasticized waist and cuffs look. I could do without the cammo pattern.
GrappleX 354 Posted July 16, 2014 Found sooo many in the tent city near the NWAF the other day. Like, 2 or 3 pant and 2 or 3 jackets. I think i came across like 15 pieces of Gorka attire during one run of the NWAF. Good thing they look and work so damn good.

Katana67 2907 Posted July 16, 2014 Unrelated, and I've said this before, but I think there's something wrong with the High Capacity Vests. They contrast so sharply with damn near every other item of clothing. It's almost as if they're not being rendered properly (shaders?).
Dagwood 680 Posted July 16, 2014 Gotta rock the gorka top with hunter pants for real camo. Camo assault vest goes nicely as well? All of that paired with an improvised leather backpack and camouflaged AK? Best camo in game.

blacklabel79 949 Posted July 17, 2014 Is it me or do these Gorka jackets look like old SS camo? not at all. I know the Russians had one pattern of camo that even they referred to as the "SS pattern" because of how similar they were. This might be it... hombrecz 832 Posted July 18, 2014 Sweet, found a matching jacket to go along with my pants. :P Edit: Damn, my character looks sexy. Looks good but would be even better if they made hi capacity tacvest in some kind of camo (like dubok).

Gives me something of an informal paramilitary-style look in conjunction with my black cap. Looks pretty awesome, imho.
