Every time I join a server I'll loose all my gear and spawn as a freshspawn at the coast...

 

Anyone else having this problem?

There aren't any changelogs for experimental versions.

So any news that is hidden and super secret that I don't know about? I heard a rumor that the update would be coming out this month.. but the month is almost over..

When do you guys think the next update will release?

New update just came out what ? a few days ago on exp.

 

Well said. Dude made his 1st post, we can't expect too much  ;) .

 

edit: More interesting question might be, when exp gets on stable. I guess only that rubber banding is preventing this to happen.

Yea so long as the rubber banding is there it should stay on exp its pretty bad.

Was actually funny. I was running out of police station in that new town and got sucked back but into locked room.

So I guess ghost policemen locked me up for being dangerous individual, or for stealing SKS from their station.

I was stuck in a loop for I swear what must have been 1 full minute. Running out of a building only to get teleported back.

At what point will you be working on fixing zombies?

They seem to have gotten worse. Hitting from outside buildings and 10ft away..

So you didn't read the change log? They're zombies! Head damage only!

Ongoing melee balancing has zombies more resilient to body impacts. (Aim for the head)

If this is true, then I suggest that a shotgun with buckshot should be the weapon of choice for those less skilled at snipping.

 

A shotgun might not put the undead down for good, but it could take them off their feet for long enough to make good your escape.

 

I propose that weapon characteristics be made to fit with this model.

 

For persons good at sniping, a head shot with some FMJ round for skull penetration is the way to go, but for those lacking in skill, it would be nice if we could take a leg off of a zombie with a 12 gauge, of fire some lead shot into the herd to slow them down.

 

On the other hand, an FMJ to the chest or stomach would penetrate, enter and exit, but would not have much take down force to stop them permanently if not square in the rib cage, heart or skull.

 

This would cause players to think more carefully about the weapon they choose to use...

 

Should they discard that old Remington 1900 side-by-side 12 gauge with a charming Damascus barrel they found in a barn or above the fireplace, that offers little penetration but lots of spread and take-down force, or should they abandon that military grade M4 with armor penetrating rounds and a snipping scope in favor of a sawed off shotgun with ample slug and buckshot, lots of kick and splash damage?

 

Or maybe, they could have the best of both worlds... an M4 for armor/skull piercing, and a .38 Saturday night special with hollow point rounds and moderate punch, but pathetic range.

 

Decisions, decisions...

Might be the zombie mapping fix (aka navmesh) thats server side or a fix for rubber banding that is server side.

0.44.123802 Vs 123800 originally.. So.. Something new got put to stable. But what?

4.8megs, I think if it was from Exp it would be larger but probably a fix for something at least.

Should be around, 500-900mb if it's from exp.. But.. It could be the beginning.. Maybe.. Soon. * Restarts steam *

Yeah i got it, nearly to fast to notice, hopefully it fixes the rubberbanding but that wouldnt mean a stable update so maybe navmesh though i doubt it.
