Anything new in Day Z standalone to pull me away from the mod?

Hi people, i haven't been on standalone for ages as imo it doesn't offer me anything the mod can not. Have they sorted the zombies yet going through walls etc? Just wouldnt mind a update from people who actually play it. Many thanks ;-)

Zombies are still bugged but they do respawn. Barely.

 

They are going to add physics soon, at least throwing shit around.

 

They added a new city up north of Berezino and changed others.

 

New pistols and some new guns (SKS and other pistols)

Nothing really. Same old 2 zombies per town that respawn right next to your face, only a few guns, and nothing to do once you're geared but to pvp or hold people hostage. Stay on the mod.

If you're enjoying the mod I'd check back in about 6 months.. things should be quite different by then. The groundwork being laid down in the experimental servers right now is promising so do make sure to check back later. Right now, its not worth writing home about unless you really enjoyed it months ago to begin with.

Thanks for the positive feedback. As to the people with the "search the forums" attitude, i have a life and don't spend my whole time on here, so this was faster and easier for me. Don't know why people take the time to moan about this. Anyway will come back in 6 months......

Personally, not worth to change yet, servers are so laggy,loot doesnt respawn so i advice you to wait until they fix this things !
