See the flaw here is that they really don' have to. I know you desire them to and frankly so do I not just in game but in the world we live in out here. That does not mean they will. We are surrounded by leaders that act like children, and many others in places of power that need to make everything into a pissing match. There is a reason so many people act that way... It takes a lot more energy and effort to be and live in a mature way. What I mean is a way to live with them not against anyone but yourself.

 

They do need to grow up but so often people do not do what they need and make mistakes from their immaturity. Rather than judge them why not try and help them see a better way by living that way in front of them and talking to them and finding out how to help them along the path. Takes a lot less out of you to help someone than to judge them.

Dude temporarily needed someone to clear airfield and found ya. After that he cleared amother problem and this problem was you with equ, I seen a lot similar story, at end of teamwork, after few hours together someone betray ya. It's because everyone goes being around being "friendly" all wrong. I KoS, I rob, I also help people. But my help mainly consists of "EH! Hands up! No funny moves! You need anything? I think this level of bastardry is pretty rare. It is the nature of the beast, though.

 

Perhaps it'd be good if there was a way to track players you come into contact with across servers - a bit like if you're Steam Friends, but working in-game only. So you can hunt down specific bandits, or make friends without actually exchanging personal/Steam information. It might also cut down on combat-logging, since you could be followed.

 

Repeated griefing could be mitigated by having the track only work for the life-time of that specific character - when either of you dies, you lose the track.
