When I'm bleeding so bad it looks like a silent movie and I'm going to die if I don't bandage? Yes I would. This military zombie is wearing full military gear, I'm pretty sure I can find something that's not completely covered in rotted corpse seeing as though he's wearing multiple layers of gear. Like, all ruined and stuff, maybe a bit of badly damaged stuff, you know, low chance of getting a working product. It's not an issue of smelling bad; when you die, and your immune system shuts off, the billions upon billions of bacteria and microscopic organisms living on your skin right now start going to work decomposing your body. These tiny little bastards, finally gorging themselves on an entire human instead of just dead skin and sweat become, some would say, all-powerful and a serious threat to the still-living (not to mention maggots, flies, worms, and other creepy-crawlies that plant themselves in the fertile soil that is dead human!). Not to mention the inherent risks of blood-borne threats you risk when applying a "bandage" taken from the blood-soaked shirt of the somehow-living monster we face in DayZ, you're in the middle of a real shitstorm when it comes to biological warfare using a walking-corpse's clothes as your nursery. That being said, dry food, rotted organics, and things like maps/clothes/items should absolutely be lootable from zombies, but at the risk of a high % chance of carrying some nasties you better disinfect QUICK. First time I got handcuffs I tried to lock a zombie up in the hopes of getting a undiscovered option to chop off it's lower jaw and cut out the upper teeth then consider it's arms... my own pack mule. Or at the least get the option to bash in it's teeth and attach a chain to the handcuffs to make it a harmless mobile backpack until the cuffs wore out. (as i've seen from the videos) I never did, I think radio's were very rare in the mod and didn't really have a purpose (but there were stories about Green Mountain...).
