Korsbaek 1778 Posted March 13, 2014 You should really just make a macro. It's pretty easy. Razer has got one which is pretty good. I don't remember its name though.
ChiefMasterKush 321 Posted March 13, 2014 I remapped my x2 W to my ctrl button. Use W when I need to walk around in buildings, ctrl for a quick getaway or out in the open. Also, it's easier to put weight(something heavy) on it if you feel you must need the auto run.Why didn't I think of this... Thanks.
qww 287 Posted March 14, 2014 i jam a bic biro pen lid in between w and 2, so yeah autorun would be good
Guest Posted March 14, 2014 (edited) I have a USB switch on my keyboard to use it for two computers. If I switch while running, you keep running even after you switch back, until you hit a key. That's what i call a real hacker  I remapped my x2 W to my ctrl button. McGarnagle 94 Posted March 14, 2014 I wasn't aware that BF or CoD had an auto run option. I've only noticed that mainly MMORPG's have them. Or games with big maps?
Caboose187 (DayZ) 3036 Posted March 14, 2014 Or games with big maps? :rolleyes:What games have big maps? If you're going to say MMORPG's I'll laugh right now because they don't have big maps, just really slow gameplay to give the illusion of big maps.
Babydinosaurawr 3 Posted March 14, 2014 I stick two plectrums in the keyboard. That's what you do when you ain't got no money.
doctorbadsign 645 Posted March 14, 2014 I was tempted to see if i could bind run forward to one of the buttons on the side of my mouse, will this work? I used one of them for free look, but a run forwards on the mouse would be handy, it would mean I can sip my tea whilst running.

I actually had autorun bound to Mouse4 (thumb button) first before settling on one of the G keys on my keyboard. EDIT: Because pictures. Upstart2010 11 Posted March 14, 2014 For auto-run I use an old garbage pail kid card folded twice longwise just wedged between the W and 2/3 keys. I also remapped my "E" Key to "Turbo" so you hold "W" & "E" for instant running/fast escapes. Also remapped "Q" to "look behind" so I don't need to take my hand off my mouse to use the num-pad when I get those paranoid moments!. ;) (How do I lean? remapped to hold ctrl and then press Q or E) B)
minime1000 78 Posted March 14, 2014 Have same keyboard. Use auto run on it. Even with a regular keyboard there are plenty of programs for macros. No need for pennies and what not.
