I expected not to find anyone, then as I'm walking downstairs I see someone in the doorway and I immediately run back up the stairs pulling out my gun saying "Are you friendly, are you friendly?!" and he responds "Yes, are you? Make sure you don't move, we won't kill you". So I sat there for a while, thinking "They're gonna kill me, I should just log out." I decided not to log out as I didn't even have a gun, nothing that I really wanted to keep. I asked them "are you going to hold me up??" They said "No, but we want to make sure you won't do the same to us". Then you wouldn't imagine what they gave to me.... I would provide the picture I took, but apparently I can't put pictures from my steam profile on these forums... Anyway, they gave me an M4 with pristine everything except for bipod, literally everything. Pristine Suppressor, pristine Mp buttstock, Pristine RIS handguard, Pristine Acog, Pristine Flashlight, Pristine gun, too. Yeah, they did give me a dupe gun, but I don't care, it's still freaking awesome that they would give me a gun with ammo when I could've easily just killed them after they gave it to me! muddyraccoon 176 Posted March 11, 2014 Yep. When I first started playing DayZ I only had a videos of YouTube watched and no mod experience. All I knew is other players could kill you. I quickly learned that "could kill" pretty much meant "will kill" and became terrified. Nobody helped, and if they did help, they would soon "lol fag!" shoot me then skip away laughing. When I first met a nice player, it changed everything. He gave me loot, let me tag along since I didnt have a weapon and he didnt have a spare, and gave me everything I needed, including high end military loot. He was murdered, so I hunted him down, gave him half of what he gave me. After i logged, I tracked him down, found his group and have been playing with them ever since. It took one serious betrayal to make me distrust most things with legs in this game, but it took one nice one to turn it around. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Rgds LoK I don't care if it had zero value, I'm just saying that most people would never give anyone a loaded gun in DayZ, correct? Most people would be terrified that they would shoot them, correct?? I'm so much more cautious now, and I have such good camo I highly doubt I'll die for at least 4-5 days.
