Grimey Rick 3417 Posted February 20, 2014 Whats wrong with wanting an Asian to gear up our characters while we are at work? Im actually looking for this service. Like Fiverr.com but just for gaming. If an Indian or Thai person wants five bucks to gear up my character for 20 minutes, then everybody wins. In India, people collect mud from the streets near gold district to refine it or a few pennies. No one said anything about rasm, its just that the majority of people on fiverr are in india or asia. Pay-to-win can suck my banana. It ruins games. If you're not willing to play the game the way it's intended to be played, don't buy the game. If you don't like gearing up, don't buy the game.

AceRimm3R 11 Posted February 20, 2014 Whos to say when the game develops, and camps are introduced, why would trading not be a part of the game? The players in the game are pushed towards violence against each other as its the easiest way to gear up, but in the future when camps and medical camps are set up, are you going to get medical care for free if your in a sticky situation? or food or new clothes? Which ever way you look at it, guns, ammo, food, clothes and most importantly a tin opener are a form of currency, they are traded in death mostly, but not forever. Sutinen 635 Posted February 20, 2014 This is ridiculous. I can't imagine anyone else expect Sergey paying for gear in DayZ. Get killed a minute later.
Highlander007 249 Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) 10) Transactions:You may not under any circumstances sell or buy in game items for real world money, the same goes for selling access to an Official or Non official Server, If you choose to do so on a Privately hosted server not connected to Hive you must advertise that else where.1) No Spam / Advertising:Advertising of any commercial product or service on these forums is not permitted. Chain letters and pyramid schemes are similarly prohibited. This includes the Personal Message Service and clan recruitment outside of the Clan recruitment forum. There's a reason for these rules and this thread is in direct breach....... Still waiting for the lock or deletion, XD Edited February 20, 2014 by Highlander007

Hethwill_Khan 233 Posted February 20, 2014 Ahhh, isn't that the real meat of the question. Would any of you give two turds if I was giving away free gear? Maybe I want to start a strict and personal clan. Emails are a must. Phone numbers too, I did this with tons of other games. My answer is: I am not actively searching for customers. This is not a business. I am not trying to get accounts. This is just a trade. What I get in return? Send me an email, how about that. Send me an email and you'll get your answer right? No emails. Setup a proper meeting place - Elektro Church if i may advise - get in game, meet up and let's see what comes out of it. Word of mouth won't buy you a trader reputation.Plus many did setup their "trade stalls" open in the street for anyone to pickup the stuff they needed. Nothing was asked in return but anyone could leave something as a token of appreciation. Was great to see and most armed fellows left them be without harm. What makes your proposition different ? That is what most people are curious to know and you still don't answer that indirect question.

Part of being a functional forum community is self-moderation and, on the internet, people are free to express their thoughts and opinions when they don't breach the rules, so if people want to call out the OP for being a shady, pikey, shyster then they're free to. Would you prefer the thread was left unattended or something? Also, "wanna be mods"? Pah. I'm a moderator on another forum and I can assure you that it's a royal pain in the shitter having to deal with fuckwits who can't read rules day in, day out. I have exactly zero desire to be a moderator here (except maybe relevant permissions to sort out the topics in the Suggestions section, because that's a shit-stained clusterfuck right now). deebz1234 243 Posted February 20, 2014 wow i wondered when this would come over. the problem I see is that they do this in the cheater forums with the mod, people will hack you in gear for $$. Low risk, as your IP/info is not tied to the hack. I think maybe the OP may be doing the same, or the next step is haxors focusing on this in SA for $. (if its possible) im really on the fence about this...

-MadTommy 367 Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) And still waiting for the mods to lock/delete the thread.............................................................................................................. I'm rather wanting you to be deleted... no one likes a wannabe mod. Why do you have such a bee in your bonnet about it? You couldn't pay me enough money be to a mod. I agree the best communities are self moderated, but we really don't need people getting their knickers in a twist over this. If you want to report it, report it. Anyone stupid enough to buy gear is well.. stupid. Unless i'm mistaken this game is for adults.. and as adults we can make our own minds up and mistakes. If you don't like content of a thread the best way to 'moderate' it is not to post in it and it will disappear. Self moderation IMO is not banging on about how the rules are being broken and complaining about it not being deleted or locked. If it was offensive / abusive I'd understand.. this however is not. Gakuun 1 Posted February 20, 2014 I thought about starting a business that uses koreans or thai people, etc to gear up your character while you are at work. Is there a low cost asian business that does this? just hire some mexicans or other immigrantsthey will get the gear faster and cheaper People like you are disgusting. :)
iBane 381 Posted February 20, 2014 Hello fellow survivors! As you may know... more recently the gear/loot have been somewhat more strenuous to acquire, especially safely and risk-free. Also for most people who work during the day, the servers are just crawling with bandits when you get home. This is where I come in. My guarantee is full gear: - A primary weapon of choice.- Ammunition - (amount is negotiable)- A secondary weapon of choice - (sawed-off is negotiable)- Backpack - (choice is yours)- Full set of military clothes - (or any of your choosing)- Medical supplies- Tons of Food/Water etc,- Whatever your heart may desire. Survivors! You will be decked out and ready to deal out justice in the Day Z world in no time!Just drop me a line at kalibyr@gmail.com and we can talk shop. Questions are encouraged. I like the entrepreneurial spirit of this. Not everyone may agree, but I'm fine with trading/services like this from the community.

muddyraccoon 176 Posted February 20, 2014 Funny that it was brought up, I make all my posts with the intention of it being a resumé. Every time I post I think "HIRE ME MODS! HIRE ME!!" Just like Dean made some mod or whatever then was hired to make this game, I have my own guerilla job hunting schemes. But yeah, this post is a debacle. Grimey Rick 3417 Posted February 20, 2014 OK i'll play. Why do I have something against third party micro transactions that are open to financial and all sorts of other online frauds? (This conversation could take ages like this.) Every purchase you ever make has the potential to be fraudulent, whether online or not. We don't care if the persons partaking in said transactions end up being scammed, we don't want another pay-to-win game. This is a game based on realism. I'm fairly (although nothing would surprise me with this development team) certain that this is not the direction DayZ will ever take. Literally 50% of the game is spent scrounging about for items. If you take that away, you're inviting a plethora of people who solely want to play this game like a legitimate first person shooter.
