why or why not and which one of theses would like to see?

Saw someone post a pic of the footy field and I thought "at least give a physics enabled ball that we can push around". More sports would be great, as long as its just simple stuff, not sinking time into making a golf course when we need respawning zombies and such :)

lol i can see a game of soccer yeah just perfect make sure you have plenty of reserve players for when the snipers get there aim in ... Not to mention i want to see what happens the first time a referee pulls a yellow card the player will pull a pistol and shoot them.

 

The new blood sport for the apoc chernarus soccer...

 

PS chose soccer as it would be the easiest to put in game ( in a simplistic fashion though and it is the most popular football sport in the world, but i prefer rugby myself...

The only feasible sports I couuld see in a post-apo world would be things such as go, chess, playing cards, gladiator games (and those already exist to an extent) and similar to that.

 

Oh and for the record: soccer is football and american football is actually called hand egg.

i've noticed the football field in the suburbs north of cherno.

 

a baseball diamond and a basketball court while we're at it, why not?

 

i don't think the physics could handle more than throwing/kicking/holding so:

 

soccer might be able to work.

 

football might be able to work.

 

rugby could work.

 

baseball could work.

No hockey would be more viable. It is a part of Russia if im not mistaken and Russia does have good hockey players that go to the USA.

Cards seems like it wouldn't be too hard to implement into the game. Play some cards with buddies out camping up in the northwest.  That would be cool.  Also, chess/checkers/etc..

Aint nobody got time for serious sports, cards on the other hand is a really good idea! It provides entertainment and you can play card games off of items with other players by betting and stuff and you could also just play for fun, just get an old card deck ingame unpack it and play with friends or perhaps your prisoner you have captured. Another fun idea would be the Russian Roulette for those who are extra sadistic, there's already a magnum in the game, why not slap a single bullet in it spin the barrel and play the most dangerous game with your life on stake.

As an American I will definitely agree.  They worry about concussions and what not, it's because they have space-age gear that makes them feel invulnerable so the players got weaker and faster, quicker, more agile.  Back in the day when they had shoulder pads that only covered the shoulders and a little of the chest, and the one bar facemask, you just had a bunch of meatheads. 

 

And I will say soccer should be called soccer since Rugby is the original claim to football.  And what better sport than one where the home team, win or lose, buys the visitors a keg and have a party after the match?

But it makes waaay more sense this way if you look at the literal meaning of the term. "World of Tanks" would be a better fitting name for your kind of football ;)

But seriously, if you want to play football (aka soccer) why not get FIFA instead? Or the already available tons of other sport games. I don't think the core game would benefit much from including sports.
