I just saw, I shit you not, at least three posts about trading books. Here I am, getting shot, raped, and my pants stolen on the side of a road, and everyone is worried about reading literature about women's rights?

You'll always have "rare item chasers" in any game like this.

 

We have one guy in our group that would trade like 20 super powerful sniper rifles, for 1 super rare but not that good one.  Then he'd get shot and lose it.  Then he'd moan that he didn't have any more sniper rifles.....lol

 

Don't chase the "shiny shiny".  Think about what's going to make you the most capable player.

No joke, found two copies of it (separate lives of course) but never had a chance to read either.  I even went to a used bookstore IRL to try and pick up a copy, couldn't find it.

"Call of Cthulhu" is actually a rather short short story, so you won't have much luck finding a book with that title irl. You should look for the book "Lovecraft Omnibus, volume 3", that is by far the most widespread print edition containing that story.

Good, more for us...One of these Lives after I get fully hydrated and fed I'll just get a melee weapon and a pack and go around picking up books I want to read.  I can hear the bandit that finds me reading in a cabin and kills me and finds one can of food, a bottle of water, and baseball bat, and a mountain pack full of books already.

as allways, random house, everything else looted besides the books. Oh the poor peasents. Dont they realize a full stomache isent enough ?
