The day in the life of an utter expert

Please, make a single post. You are even more annoying.

Thanks.

If fellow brothers and sisters would stick to subject at hand I would - however it is also a duty and honour to reply to all posts if possible, why kind of leaders would we be if we ignored our loyal subject.

Oook... I readed the story. Fine written, would be some cool action movie scenario, but sorry mate I dont buy your story...

What I really find interesting though is how did your friend managed to get a " headshot" from 800 meters with a mosin? and that offhand? by that dispersion rate? sorry did you even readed the topic about the dispersion rate in the SA?

I can tell for my own, I was a member of spec ops in the army of my country, and you need some adjustments (we call it zeroing) to hit the mark, and usually there is a spotter and a marksman, but we do as single man too. Nevertheless the thing is you have to " adjust" your weapon for the dispersion of the bullet, so that it doesnt go astray. In this game the long range scope gives you the possibility to adjust on 800 meters but it doesnt give you the possibility to adjust for the wind. And being a sniper myself I am really intrigued to "learn" from you how you hit the mark at such distances... can you make some video tut so we can see first hand "how" to aim for the mosin? coz everytime I shoot the same place the bullet hits another place...which shows me that the dispersion is really fucked up at the moment... Im really intrigued to know how you managed to land " headshots " every time you shooted.

You love that word don't you brother...this isn't a parody, it is if you recall a true event shared by two true expert of the game, there are many more factual tales, however this is one we decided to share with fellow gamers, so stop making spurious accusations and accept the fact this is (I am sorry I have to repeat) a true story shared among lesser players so they can be inspired to greatness.

lesser players? wow... Im speechless... to see people as " inferior " and so on... you really have some kinda ego issues my dear sir... I would respect you if youre a good player. I would say " wow what a good marksmen, I wouldnt be able to do it" but "lesser people"? get your grip man, you're no better person than anyone else on this world.

And I am still expecting a vid tutorial from you experts to teach us how to shoot with a mosin from distances like 800 meter without missing the target once

My brother, I never said 'lesser people' I said 'lesser players' I rarely judge and bring down people on their life outside dayz, inside though I know I am the best there is, therefore, apart from mooky, people are not as good as me, hence my phrase 'lesser players'.  The point of these threads are to inspire them and hopefully give them some knowledge that would be similar to divine intervention, resulting in them improving as an all round player. Peace out and thanks for your respect, but please use god like player, rather than 'good'.

Damn we have a Alpha pro here...holy shit.

Yes nice to meet you brother.  You should have seen us in beta, I was the only person to shoot a player at top airfield from 600 metres away when graphics looked like a commodore 64 loading screen.  I likened it to neo in matrix 1 when he could see through all the coding and manipulate it.

You must be Neo if you've played Beta.

Ok you claim to be good, I dont denounce that... then you can teach people like us how you hit people from 800 meter without any missing by this dispersion rate in the game (and to mention the dispersion rate is totally random so you have a huge cone to nullify) I am looking forward for your vid where you show us how we have to handle the mosin... people say Im good but I really would like to see how youre handling the scope and mosin.

Ok ok this is going off topic from my original post which describes an actual event which showcased my wide ranging skills which combined mastery of arms with ninja like stealth and the situational awareness of a bird of prey.

Ok real world story. Got back from a business trip an hour ago and as I entered my home I noticed my elderly neighbours fence had taken a bashing in the recent bad weather.

I hoped round to my shed and got my tool belt and hurried next door and announced I was going to make some quick repairs. The old couple were delighted, the old fellow was actually a carpenter during his working life.

When finished the fellow came out and gratefully announced "that looks like the work of a pro, are you a fencer by trade?"

And here comes the lesson: "No" I said "Remember last summer when you past on all your trade secrets when you advised me on building my own fence?"

"Oh yeah" he replied

"We'll I kept that knowledge and now I am paying you back"

He beamed from ear to ear and we both felt good , a lot of tenderness was in the air.

Now the fact is I lied, I am and always have been an expert carpenter to the extent that even as a young man my neighbour could never hope to emulate the level of skill I have.

BUT:

He felt good and benefitted from my mastery of a skill set. Like the readers of my original post, see my expertise and marvel in it whilst gaining valuable services in broadening your own knowledge of Dayz.

You are all that old man to me, in need of help and I give it willingly in exchange for your love.

Itchy thank you for minding this thread whilst I travel. Your amazing intellect and mastery of game knowledge is utterly priceless.

When I have children (who obviously will not grow up to be as attractive and skilful as your children), I will show them this thread and recount this glorious tale of such an epic (super)human endeavour until they ascend past mere noobs and - with your blessing, allow themselves to be called 'ok'. Then they shall be free to strive through life in the constant darkness that your shadow casts, and maybe one day they may be ready enough to continue passing on the legend that is 'itchy and mooky - gods of elektro'.

We'll met TB, a handsome ambition for your children and one I officially endorse. As a follower your children also come under our greater flock and with guidance and basically them following every word of our wisdom fanatically they may finally rise to being considered "not bad" Go in peace brother

I call troll on this topic

its a parody of the LeeHarveyEnfield thing and my money is on the HetSteak partnership at play ; )

Couple of things, nope it's no parody it's just truth told in an expertly entertaining manner. Also I dunno who LeeHarveyEnfield is but he can't have a patch on my narrative capabilities (or itchys). Bet he is pleased to be mentioned in this thread mind you.

I send a welcome to him! Go in peace brother.

Couple of facts, I was low on ammo and I was rectifying that by shopping in my town. Also I don't camp which I despise. I may use a vantage for visibility and then will hunt my prey with the skill of a ninja combined with the best aspects of James bond and Rambo. Your ignorance on this is forgiven, you meant no harm, go in peace friend.

Hey please hold out the olive branch friend. I don't believe in cheating the readers out of accurate depictions of my skill. It would be wrong of me and they deserve better. As for the flame bait rubbish that comes up when someone talks straight - disgraceful.

You have pretty shitty ninja skills.  that guy came around the corner and surprised you, and there were 2 more members of the group than you knew about and finally you were expecting death at the end because you had no exit plan.  Ninjas always have exit plans
