Delete your DayZ.cfg, a new one will be created when you launch the game.

C:\Users\SmashT\Documents\DayZ

 

Also Steam Authentication is back up so this should be resolved.

Just tried it. The problem still isn't fixed, and because of this, DayZ is literally unplayable for me (and probably a lot of others).

Try opening the file with notepad and add the following lines to the bottom:

3D_Performance=100000;

adapter=-1; 

[xbig_bad_wo1fx 1]
