we'll need someone with a similar setup as you to tell us, onboard-graphics and mobile processors don't usually make for good gaming..

Monitor resolution: 1600x900

CPU: FX 6300 3.5Ghz ( boost up to 4.0 Ghz, Will oc in future )

Graphics card: MSI gtx 760 TF 2gb/oc @ 1189 Mhz 

RAM: 4GB Corsair XMS 3 1600Mhz (DDR3) ( Will upgrade shortly to 8gb )

WD 500 gb HDD ( Will be adding 500 gb Samsung Spinpoint for recording shortly )

Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L /USB3

PSU: Corsair VS 550 80 plus Silver

Operating System: Windows 8.1

 

I am perfectly sure I will run the standalone ... but the question is how good ?

I think, it will, but not in 1008p. I suppose you have Lenovo Y580. I played DayZmod on it( but 3630QM) with 720p with Virt memory on HDD OFF, Win8.1. But no blure, anti-aliasing etc. of cource, but normal shadow. I hear SA should be smoother.

For some hours I'll buy the game and write more specifically for DayZ SA and my notebook.

Somewhere between 0 and zero.

 

I wouldn't even attempt to fire up DayZ (mod or SA) using a 2GHz dual core CPU. I also suspect your notebook has integrated graphics or a very low-end mobile GPU.
