My server became Passworded?

Recommended Posts

I bought a DayZ server in London today. I couldn't figure out how you changed the name. I just customized start loadout and set map to Namalsk. I set up the sorge, got on, played for a few sec. Then BAM! I was kicked off my own server twice for to-high ping.

I turned off my laptop and came on later. I tried to start up the server but it was stuck on "Waiting for Host" screen. I restart DayZ commander. I looked in favourites to see that my server, once a DayZ namalsk server-Was a DayZ: Epoch Chernarus server that required a password.

I don't know what went wrong. I'd appreciate if someone could help cause' if I can't fix it then that's 30 Euro down the drain :(.

(I checked the IP for my namalsk server and it was the same as the Epoch one in case you're wondering)

What's the host you're with? We need more information to find out what might have happened, as there could be dozens of reasons.

New to the whole server thing. Think it's DayZ.ST

Go to the DayZ.ST-panel and take a look at it. There's no easier Admin Control Panel out there. It will tell you anything you need to know.

You're kidding right? You have a server but you don't know who it's with or how to do anything with it? You may want to start with the person paying for the server.

^THIS....

You're in for a long, terrible road ahead if you can't even figure out your control panel.

Frankly, and harshly, I would just say forget owning a server man... it really isn't for everyone. Much harder than most people think.

This is what I'm talking about when I call out the "new generation" of kids. Can't do anything themselves is pathetic. Google makes finding information easier now that ever in the history of man kind and you STILL want people to hand hold you. Seriously wtf is wrong with you?

I'm sorry if I have to be the one telling you this, but if you can't handle the DayZ.ST-Adminpanel you need to spend more time informing yourself before getting a server. There's no easier way to "admin" a server and yet you can't handle this?

Server Password doesn't appear  on my control panel. And I don't know why it says DayZ Epoch Chrnarus instead of DayZ Namalsk.

Maybe you could contact dayz.st, they love dealing with these kinds of customers. Or you could press the dropdown menu and choose Namalsk...
