so i'm building a new pc. i pretty much know what parts i'm going to get but i thought i'll just show it here on the forum. if you got any recommendation i'd love to hear.

CPU: i3 3220

GPU: MSI GTX 650ti boost twin frozr 2g

Motherboard: MSi B75MA-P45 (socket 1155)

Ram: 8gb corsair vengeance ddr3 1600

PSU: CX500

That is a good setup but you might need to upgrade the cpu to and i5 like a 3470 or 3570k or if your willing to spend more money go for a new haswell series i5 or i7

Maybe 20 - 30 on low -normal, still can't make up your mind? You've posted about 50 builds already...

The CPU and GPU are pretty weak, maybe 10 - 20 everything disabled / low.

Yes, that will not run DayZ. Definately go for a i5 or i7.

But if you want to go really cheap, go for an AMD CPU.

Here is a pretty cheap build, all from PCPartpicker. Assuming you're American, this was $393.51, and should play DayZ on medium - high settings at 30+ FPS.

AMD FX-4100 @ 3.6GHz 4 cores - $97.99

ASRock 970 Extreme3 - $84.99

Asus Radeon HD 7770 1GB GHz - $121.98

Raidmax ATX238WU ATX Mid tower case - $34.99

Antec High Current Gamer 400w -$73.56

I left out the RAM and HDD because you can take them from your old computer, and put them in. If you want to save $34.99, you can reuse your old case too, and really lower your cost.

Just to be on the safe side:

Windows 7 ultimate x64

Intel I5 quad core 3.2

4gb RAM

Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 TI

Will it blend?.. I mean run! and how well?

I plan on getting this game in a couple of monhs, and well I don really know shit as to how I should go about customizing a pc build... I plan on buying one from this website http://ironsidecomputers.com

My budget is around $ 1,500 usd. I hope to play the game on high settings, so please give me your advice on what I should pick from the above mentioned websie, such as Intel or AMD etc. . Also I'm a bit intimidated by overclocking, and liquid cooled?

Thanks in advance.

PS: I already own a pretty good monitor but it's like 5 years old.

It's much easier to build a tower from scratch. I could easily assemble a build for you, you'd just have to put it together.

You really wouldn't even need 1,500 for a tower.

Thats what he / she's saying. The website lets you build a computer.

Ah, checked out the site for a bit, all I saw were pre-builds with just a few customization.

Even still, I'm sure you could get all of that on amazon/newegg for much cheaper if you build the exact same build.

I know what you mean Dyckman, but I just dont want to even risk it tbh.... and they offer a good warranty coverage plan. That website (www.ironsidecomputers.com) also lets you choose every single part starting with the case. Please people take a look and help me as to what parts I should get on that website $1500 budget for the tower alone. Hope to play the game on high settings at least....

The memory in your graphics card. You'd be better off posting your entire pc spec, CPU, ram, gfx card, hard drive the lot.

Also I think you're supposed to post this elsewhere but I ain't a mod and I'm drunk so bleh

An alienware x51 with an in tell processor 4th generation i7 at 3.9 buzz 16 bits of ram one Terri byte hard drive, a Nicosia gtx670 with 2 gigs. Yes its overpriced but it a better choice then a laptop after a. Lot of thinking. Because I can upgrade it.
