Maybe have it as a very rare gun? since it "Has no place in Chernarus" That means someone has to take the time to make a Mauser pistol model, then they have to make multiple copies of the model with different levels of detail, as well as a muzzle flash model then they have to make textures, normal and specular maps as well as ambient shadow maps, RVMAT, fresnel values, etc, then hand animations, then working bolt animations, then they have to write up the model configuration and config.cpp files to actually get it properly working in the game. In other words it can be a fair amount of work to do it properly, and why would they focus on an out-of-place and rare Mauser when they could instead spend time making a Mosin, Tokarev, etc, or even more important, fixing countless other things? In any case the community dev team has so far shown (apparently) little interest in adding any new and original weapons. Yes because the average Chernarusian citizen who can't afford a car always collects these things. This gun is pretty famous in Russia but i doubt they are numerous.
