ok so my first real turn was me going to a city finding a fire staton with a creepy ass zombie outside,running into a church for cover,finding a gun going back and getting my revenge on said zombie the logging off.

my first real turn,I ran up the beach got shot by a sniper in the legs,some guy wearing a ghillie  suit ran up to me looted me and ran off,leaving me to bleed to death.

My first time i spawned in Cherno and because i watched *******onpc180p i immediately ran into to turn to the medical tents and found a other new spawn there and i talked a bit to him and then tagged along.Just outside over the hill he had his Quad bike parked and we headed to electro to find some more loot but as soon as we got there A hacker had done that hack where u get spawned in a field and they shoot us and then just drove away in there humv

(This was when dayz just started to get popular)

I remember running from zombies and having no idea what to do about it. I just kept turning around hoping they'd go away and that my character wouldn't somehow run out of breath and pass out.

Spawned near Kamenka and after a brief run i saw a zed hopping in the grass and did not know wtf it was, i thought it was an animal of some sort at first. My mate had spawned in and was over ts saying he could not see anything, no trees , nothing. We had no idea what to do, this was when you spawned with the mak so when the zed aggroed and charged i panick shot it then legged it for the forest not knowing wtf was happening or was going to happen. He was asking me what i was on about as i was garbling on about some weird animal person i had killed and peaking out and where the fuck was i and why couldn't he see anything. Fun times.

I spent ALOT of time humping the ground till I eventually figured out how you lose most zombies and that it's usually not worth playing it safe unless you are decked out in gear lol I did some KOS stuff in fear of being killed, but eventually i got to the point of forcing myself not to in hopes of some interaction, though I mostly tried to play it safe, avoiding people if at all possible.

I started playing and I spawned in Cherno, the music was making me crap my pants and I did not know how to turn it down at the time so I continued crapping my pants while playing the game. I went to the super market and found a pistol, shot one zombie and a whole horde came after me and ate me. This was my first time playing DayZ. :P

After finally getting the mod working, I spawned in the Elektro docks area. I found a house with a crossbow inside. I got hit by a zombie and started bleeding. Not knowing how to bandage (or that I was even beeding in the first place) I ran around until I bled out.

Spawned into a pitch black server, while trying to figure out how to get the flashlight working heard a vehicle  pull up, then footsteps, i'm thinking ok now would be a good time to figure out how to communica...BLAM!! the guy shoots me in the knee, hops back into the vehicle and drives off.

 

Five minutes later i've managed to crawl into the small industrial at the Drakon dock, I'm cowering in the corner surrounded by zeds with no escape. thats when i knew this was the game for me.

Spawned near Balota.  Met another new spawn who had an axe.  He was friendly.  We were running around a house trying to lose zeds.  Somebody with a gun killed him.  Never saw the shooter.

The shooter says "Run for the woods and I won't kill you."   I said "Fuck you."  He started shooting.  I ran opposite of the woods, toward the shore.

I was saying with a derisive tone in direct, "Bad shot kiddie shooting unarmed spawn, bad shot kiddie shooting unarmed spawn"  until I was dead from his bullets.  Got to say it quite a few times, because he was a bad shot.

Like I really cared about losing spawn gear.

Maybe 5 minutes total.

After that I had a plan to avoid spawn killers.  Run right for the woods.

Yes i remember my first time,

 

I spawned in at Komarovo, it was dusk i was scared alone had only flares a torch and a bandage all i could hear was zombies the groans and unnerving noises could'nt  quite see what was where so with a few nervous steps i was on my way into the wide world of chernarus.

Then boom! out of nowhere another player appears (my heart started racing) oh! god is he going to kill i me i thought, then he just flashed his torch at me twice and disappeared into the night, 

 

That was my first 10 mins in Day Z, Nervous/Paranoid/alone and loving every minute of it.

The first time playing we spent like 3 hours to meet because we didn't know shit about the map, about where do we have spawned. We didn't even know the game tells you where you are for a few seconds when you log in. So we spend 3 hours just to meet each other, when we where all together (inside the church from Cherno) we unlogged, because it was already too late.

 

All I picked up was a few empty cans I think.

 

Still, was exciting, having to orientate with the sea, the map, the mountains, telling each other where we might be and which direction to follow...

I remember I was really scared about Z's (how ingenuous I was!) not at all aware of bugs, glitches,and all the other stuff, I acted as I would in real life, trying also to help the other players (I found a lot of honest and loyal ones)...I love to remember about the good old days...and not only the ones regarding DayZ.

Got spawned near Elektro, tried to approach the first buildings but instantly aggroed crapload of zombies, and also someone began shooting at me. I ran off in random direction into the forest. Then prone-crawled about 2km to closest farmhouse, crawled inside, but there turned to be a player in there who shot me in an instant.

is take all day for understand how install and make fucking game play, I am reinstall 5 or 7 time and I remember my girl is call me for say hi etc and I am make her cry for first time when I am shout 'f*cking hell!! COME ON! leave me ALONE!!!' when she is call at same time I am try again install dayz command. :huh:

 

Is ok though I am make game work and my girl is forgive but her dad say I am bad boyfriend, he don't understand when he say like this she want me more   :P  

 

I was die every times the first few hours because I no understand what is bandage...... is 2nd day before bandit guy make explain for me this bandage shit.

Hello there

 

My first time was an epic experience.

 

teaming up with other fresh players, being terrified of the dark, lighting flares everywhere and lots of friendly chant on the side channel.

My first time playing dayz was running through a forest for about 25 mins or so, finding a town(maybe stary not sure) then getting my head blown off from some unknown assassin.I was pretty pissed to be honest.

spent the first day completely with dying ( in so many embarassing ways :blush: )  and crawling (with and without broken legs) ....

 

never had so much fun playing a game  :D

 

Edit : forgot to mention that the servers were that packed (the early days) so that I had to search for a new server every time I died
