How about replacing the Kamenka/Komaravo lighthouse with a monument with names on it to give thanks to all those people who deserve credit. An added bonus of doing this is that it will prevent people from killing themselves just to get a better spawn location.

Ow doo, I have been busy with a new job, Popped in a few times and commented on this very thread, However I did not know the reason bar people were / were not happy with the Mod Cans of food. I don't want to get into the ins and out's on Immersion, just simply to say.

I have the upmost respect for all the Mods. As Mods on the forums you make this place a really good place to be and Find it balffleing as to how the cans were removed.

It would have been nice to have seen all of you immortalised and had some recognition with all the hard work you have done to promote and encourage the forums.

In fact I would buy you a pint If we ever cross paths.

In my humble opinion, the 3rd person view is far more game/realism breaking than cans with silly names. :)

But this is feautre that is accepted by the community and vill probebly never be removed by default.

There is a few servers that runs whit this feature off, but those few servers are very often empty....

Also critical bugs, hacks, exploits etc etc fells a bit more critical to resolve (wich the devs are working hard on to fix as good as they possible can) rather than ban new food items.

People keep saying this like:

1. It's an absolute truth rather than an opinion.
   
2. It's the worst thing, ever. Literally pony cancer.

I'm an ultra-realism, ultra RP-er. So of course, some decisions aren't the ones I would make. But the mere fact the mod is going in any direction at all, is a good thing. There are some systemic and communications issues, yes. I'm not surprised in the slightest. I haven't seen a professional company avoid these kinds of issues, let alone a rag-tag group of loosely connected individuals working on a community mod project. Let's not slaughter everyone just because something didn't go quite according to plan and some people think it's going in the wrong direction.

At worst, there is some dialogue missing between parties. I've talked with some of the key players and I'll get out my big stick and make sure that happens.

So, can we please stop clubbing each other to death over this for the moment? There are plenty of other things to club to death, like baby seals for instance.

OR why not leave the lighthouse since its enterable for cover and scalable for sniping and put a bronze plaque on base of the lighthouse that reads what you have in the mock-up?

Then take all the food stuffs removed and change the names to resonable names and put them back in the game since otherwise its all completely wasted time and effort.

Then everyones happy (YA RIGHT) and we can move on from this mundane idiocy.
