And we couldn't have chosen a better time, because mods and indie titles have shaken the gaming market in 2012 significantly. Since ARMA was 2 years after the publication of a sales success, because the players wanted to experience an incomparable zombie adventure with DayZ mod. First place with an overwhelming 6076 votes, followed by Black Mesa with 2672 votes.http://www.gamestars....de/articles/3/http://www.gamestars...de/category/31/I should really combine these into one thread, DayZMod is winning so many awards they are overtaking the Information section. Farcry, Half Life, Crysis etc, DayZ will define a genre and be highly reccomended by all who review it. It will never get anything below 8/10.Considering the work and effort on the Mod, the SA will surpass it. Toxiclegend 36 Posted January 31, 2013 (edited) DayZ is also up for four more awards at IGN AU's Select Awards..- Best Original Game- Best Online/Multiplayer Game- Best PC Game- Game of the Year(Thanks to Hetstaine for the link)In my opinion it should win all of them, for me it's by far the best game in recent years.As for the awards just won, congratulations to all of the development team who have work so hard to make the mod happen and I'd also like to thank them for their continued work on the SA!Powell is right, Smasht seems to always have a link for every occassion.
