New Map - DayzTaviana is released!

this is why i have to use dayzcmder..

follow the instructions and it never works when i try to do it manualy.

the wierd part is i can roam around on the map just fine in the single player armory.. but i cant connect to any actual dayZ server..

What error do you get? There is only 1 test server for this Taviana map so if it has been offline... :D filter dayzland

Taviana has been updated to 1.1.0.

I use DayZ Commander to run this map after manually installing. All i do is override the path for DayZ changing DayZ to DayZTaviana. When i want to play other maps i uncheck the override button.

i seriously cant figure out ho to manualy install maps i guess..

Until the files will not be released to the community and publically available to the major hoster, this map wouldn't have much success. This includes the availability (optional.. since i always prefer to install my stuff manually) DayZ Commander and other similar tools.

I've stopped to play it because there were only 2 servers.. unfortately most ppl are lazy and you must accept it.

That was a couple weeks ago. I was hoping for an update. Try to not be a giant fucking douchebag who thinks hes the king of the internet. If you aren't in charge of releasing the files then you shouldn't even be commenting.

I did use google genious. And it brought me to this thread. Please speak when being spoken to. As I said before, if you aren't in charge of releasing the files, you shouldn't be commenting. So why do you continue to talk when nobody is talking to you? You have zero knowledge as to what the OP is doing, so please stop acting like an attention craving child and move on to another thread. The post I made is directed at the OP, which you are not. You cannot speak for the OP, you don't know what he is thinking or doing. You have no insight to what is actually going on with this map, so your comments are pointless. If the OP doesn't want to reply to this thread, I'm ok with that. Well to limit nex providing more contructive feedback as it seems to be doing so well. If you go the link in the OP it says the server files will be released after some testing, so i assume once its been out for a while and seen how it runs the server files will eventually be released and then it would maybe get updated to Dayz commander. I will probabl wait till then also simply cause im too lazy to faff about installing stuff :P

Ok. So am I the only one having issues installing this? I have downloaded Version 1.1.0.. Followed the Video http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/105085-how-to-install-taviana-or-any-other-custom-map-and-run-it-using-dayz-commander/ step by step and a friend did as well. And im still not able to join. Its saying I have dayz version 1.7.4 installed and need 1.1.0. He's able to join and I am not.

Yeah I had seen that. It is disappointing. I think the map would have done really well and it would have been great to see this get a lot of public attention. It's a shame, and hopefully the OP will change his mind soon. I really disagree with him thinking DayZ will continue to do well once standalone is released. A lot of the Arma population doesn't really care for the mod and people are pretty anxious to play the stand alone. I find it hard to believe that DayZ will continue to be successful.
