Persistent items such as vehicles, base parts, tents, all seem to have had an issue since 1.03. The best way to help fix this is to submit all logs from a server after this happens to the Feedback tracker. BI might already know about the issue though. They aren't too good with reporting what they're working on fixing.

I understand all that. I will give you another example. Built yet ANOTHER Olga last night, Drove it out into the North West, No houses, important land marks, military, nothing remarkable that might draw a player.. next to the edge of the Map, in a cluster of bushes.. it was well hidden. I logged in today and it was gone. My squad reported a remote camp site they set up with a improved stone camp fire, tents with loot in them, and walls they started to construct, all of that was gone as well. It always happens after the server restarts. every single time. I know its not players, due to the fact that on a couple of occasions, I was still logged in with the vehicle.. Server restarted... I waited a few mins.. logged back in and the vehicles were gone... So, I agree, some times it may be players... but when I spawn into a restarted server, when there are only 2 other people in the server and I am in a very remote area, and had not seen players for hours, I tend to think that maybe, just maybe, the server is eating them. I hope I am wrong. Iwant to be wrong. I love this game so much. Dev's please prove me wrong...

Oh yeah, the unlimited stamina thing..... I forgot about it completely. However, I'd say it is still an issue that you basically ruin melee gameplay if you want a server with no stamina. And no stamina for a guy like me is way to go, when there are virtually no vehicles at all, at least there would be bunch of bicycles to respect my limited spare time that I decided to spend for DayZ, I definitely don't want to spend 2-3 hours by just trying to find a hotspot in the 14x14km map. I know Dayz is not supposed to actually be played like this, but in my experience it doesn't work other way if you play alone and don't play very often. In my humble opinion stun mechanics should be turned off when stamina is unlimited. Wouldn't it be better for everyone ? Or do you want to punish people who want to use such shortcut and skip the stamina effects in their Dayz experience ? It is not good. Peter Nespesny and Bohemia, why do you leave such simple issues that has such heavy impact on the gameplay ? I suppose it is impossible to turn off stun mechanics, because such heavily modded and IMO fine server like Trump Wall would have made the right choice, wouldn't it ?

Oh god wash, instead of fixing the problems they add weapons and items that people will duplicate out of existence. Instead of fixing the problem they delete servers, instead of fixing the problems they give us more vehicles which don't work correctly to begin with, instead of fixing things they give us the run around. There will always be a percentage of players that if a bug exists they will exploit it and it hurts those of us who play legit. They did a full release knowing full well the shit wasn't ready and its their responsibly to make thx game playable and remove bugs and glitches. It absolutely is the studios fault because apparently the majority of the bugs have been around for much longer on pc and instead of focusing on getting some optimization down and core game breaking bugs taken care of they release it on ps4 as well, effectively spreading thin the ability to focus on issues and fix them. Get off your Damn soap box that shit won't be accepted around here. So glad I got mini sites for my shotgun that I can't use in a large city due to huge frame drops where I lag and a zombie kills me because I'm unable to react, or the stupid gun in the air shit. Ever actually handled and shot an ar? You can hip fire just about anything with the weapon next to you. Edit. We all enjoy this game or love it and want it to succeed, which is why we are still here to begin with but that doesn't mean we have to put up with bs. Also they probably have a full pr team so quit doing their job for free.

I don't think @op has played the mod. Carrying a rotor blade for hours across the map to fix your heli was a rite of passage for many. Trying to actually fly the bugger without hitting the ground or the buildings while your passengers scream over teamspeak. Yup, another rite of passage. In fact the very things @op has detailed as being negatives are the very things that endeared aircraft to the DayZ community! My only issue regarding helicopters is the map boundaries and how to handle them while keeping a level of immersion, that applies to other vehicles too. In the mod you could effectively fly off the map and keep going until you got bored and the landscape below you would repeat (just plain texture like it is now, if I remember correctly).

Helicopters , barricading , advanced soft skills , bikes , c4 , shooting from vehicles , electricity to towns via substations , alcohol + weed , dynamic zombie hordes and much more... we deserve all these features as these were all teased and posted on status reports , roadmaps and trellos alike throughout the years as a “to come before or after 1.0” type deal. I was mostly excited for the advanced soft skills , I thought they would be a priority seeing as they can create long term persistent situations like medics and helicopter pilots or auto mechanics or what have you , but now it seems we will never get to that 😞 -
My group and I play on Playstation and currently are trying to fix up a car. We can't find any Jerrycans and we noticed you can fill bottles with fuel. Can we refuel our car using bottles and canteens or is it only possible with Jerrycans? Thanks for any help.

Number one thing people dont do on the internet is think before they speak/type,... all niceness aside, fuck your judgement, if your smart enough then you wouldnt of commented. Micro transactions will be the death of this game (at least to the original players, the survivalists, the veterans) Freedom of speech is what a forum kinda is for, so if there are people complaining, maybe its a sign of a real issue at hand,.. creative potential? precious time? Are you fucking joking? Thats what the devs are paid to do is use their potential and spend their precious time on this game. Im not amused at pocket pissers trying to create something thats utterly useless to the community when they dribble excrement as this.., We know the work the devs have done I see it in the files and in the gameplay and we aint knocking them back for their hard work, DayZ is only one of two games I play, 2! I have dedicated my precious time through Alpha from 0.49/0.50 to now, and its not just to keep myself amused but I actually trial and test features as well, So as you can tell Im a tiny bit annoyed, but honestly Im this way all the time, very blunt, you have made no change. Creative criticism is not intended to stimulate hate or anger, if you cant tell the context then dont comment to it, your not doing yourself any favors doing so, But again its the internet people do and say dumb shit all the time without mindfulness, either way I support the devs and their work and we as a community let them know how us the actual players rate the game (not their work) all so they may see that the majority of their players have shed light on a key issue with the devs' interests in mind, And if you didnt know, there is no relocation of coding time as they have a relay to deal with the forums, eg... DayZ Forum Team, so again Im not sure you know what your on about but I can certainly show you where you stand in regards to your comments, without resorting to a totally troll like behavior. I anticipate the games new content (well redone old content) and continue to enjoy the game with future new content being added, I really want volt back and of course throwing and I think I read something about scaling/climbing? return of all the weapons, survival aspects, tweaked realistic physics to ballistics and inertia its all in their waiting to blow our minds,.. shooting from vehicles, little bird helicopters, dead bodies not de-spawning but slowly decaying before returning to the ground leaving their gear, This is what we all are waiting for, whether it was promised or not this is some of what the players want to see in the game, all of this is without mentioning the modding aspect yet. Im sure BI has enough funding to make this game progress a bit faster, it not like they are working on ten or twenty or more titles, they can manage it definitely without low balling for micro transactions. I've had the same experience and basically stopped playing. When I last I played I'd manage to work out how to stay alive and find half reasonable gear to help stay alive with after suffering the same experience you had, but I had persevered despite all the same game breaking bugs and deaths due to BS. I got on with getting a vehicle together which took the best part of two weeks (I don't play for 12 hours a night as life generally gets in the way). Vehicles are a whole other can of worms. Theyre beyond useless, basically made of eggshells, offer no protection, and after an huge effort to get one running, they basically cause the game glitches to ramp up to 11, are useless on anything but perfectly flat road, and ruin at the first opportunity. My first car lasted all of about ten minutes! I gave up playing after this, and things like this are why players are leaving this game faster than people were trying to get off the Titanic. Looting is ruined because of dupers, base building is pointless because persistence is still broken and people can basically break in at will in mere minutes, vehicles are a broken gimmick that aren't worth the massive effort it takes to get working. The game engine is terrible, the net code a mess, game physics are broken, and the devs are focused on releasing different versions to get more cash in rather than trying to make the game run well. I bought an Xbox one X in the hope it would help the game run better, and it does, but it doesn't resolve the experience woes. So instead I went and rented a shadow pc in the hope I could get a better experience in the PC version, so I've bought the game twice now, only to get stung again by the fact the game refuses to run on a virtual machine, and the devs apparently DGAF about this either. So after buying a second xbox, another rental service, a new router for my home so shadow would run well, and a second copy of the game, I got kicked in the nuts even harder and have never player a single minute of the PC version. After all that I was done with this company. Another company that is actually a good developer needs to rip this game off and realease a good version so this one can finally be laid to rest and put its player base out of their misery.

I dont believe in micro-transactions in games honestly, especially in games like this, BI will loose most of their already dwindling playerbase if that happens with DayZ trust me in that, people who do stay and pay are fucking idiots, excuse the colorful language, If however it was a game like Star Citizen well thats a completely different ball game they literally have a Universe littered with worlds and other stuff that puts DayZ to shame with its claim of having a "massive" map, In SC you can actually buy a friking massive ship with real money,.. Now thats "worth it" and for an absolutely gargantuan ship (frigate/destroyer class) your looking at a cool $1200USD for their best which is also "worth it". Paying trump change for a game you have already paid for and want/need features that should of already been in game is a bloody ripoff and a clear sign they are now targeting children under 18 years of age (or like minded) to empty their pockets (or parents') to get these "features" in game to play with. People such as I wouldnt be "complaining" if the fucking game had all its features as it mostly did before they announced "oh we are building a new engine for the game" "It will be better and we will be able to add new things quicker" If they ever return the content that was already in the game and start actually adding "new" content like helis, shooting from vehicles, proper weather (seasons) and proper basebuilding etc then the engine 's claims will be true, but as of right now the game's Regressed state has stirred up a snakes nest. -
Are you joining the exact same official server? Official share characters across servers. 3pp to 3pp and 1pp to 1pp. Persistence storage doesn't transfer with you nor do vehicles.

A few years ago, we released the Licensed Data Packages to the Bohemia modding community; a set of data and samples (e.g. weapons and vehicles from Arma 2) from our past games, so they can learn from examples and base new creations upon this content — to expand the Armaverse and others. These packages include configuration files, material files, 3D models, textures, and animations, as well as complete game data in the form of PBOs. We want to offer the same possibility to the young DayZ Modding community, by making most of the Public Data Package available under two new licenses which allow usage in DayZ. The following changes will happen: All Licensed Data Packages previously released under APL will also be made available under DPL. Users may opt for one or the other. All Licensed Data Packages previously released under APL-SA will also be made available under ADPL-SA. Users may opt for one or the other. A new set of Licensed Data Package containing DayZ Mod data (currently under DML-SA) will be made available under ADPL-SA. Users may opt for one or the other. The above only impacts the Licensed Data Packages released by Bohemia Interactive, it is to be noted that the licenses of all already released content won't change — their licenses remain in effect. Here, the summary of the new licenses: DayZ Public License (DPL) Attribution — You must attribute the material in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the material). Noncommercial — You may not use this material for any commercial purposes. DayZ Only — You may not convert or adapt this material to be used in games other than DayZ. =167= Clan DayZ Server 181.214.149.233:2302 JOIN OUR SERVER'S DISCORD ========================================== The =167= Clan was established in 2003 and has been active for 16 years! We just opened a brand new DayZ Standalone Server (on 06/03/19) for our members and the public to enjoy. We are proud to be a no frills, no BS server. Visit our Discord for a full list of rules and important server information. We will be working to add more information on our website in the near future! BASIC INFO Server is in the United States. Server restarts every 6 hours. 12AM, 6AM, 12PM and 6PM Eastern Time. Restart warnings are set for 15 minutes, 10 minutes, 5 minutes and 1 minute leading up to a scheduled restart. After restart, the server time reverts to around 10:00AM. Daytime is accelerated by 400%. Night is accelerated by 1,200%. This makes night cycles last around one hour and they only occur a couple times per restart. Traders are at Green Mountain and Kumyrna. This is subject to change as we implement custom trader cities. Most trader prices were manually set by us. Increased loot spawns. Many added items, clothing, weapons, etc. No vehicle despawn bug! We've fixed the problem that plagues most DayZ servers which causes vehicles to despawn after only a few seconds or minutes of idle time. OUR PROMISE Our promise is simple. We will not abuse any privileges or tools we have. We will not give ourselves, or anyone else, an unfair advantage in the server. We have plenty of experience and those in staff positions are adequately trained to handle most situations. We will not spawn ourselves in any money, gear, loot, vehicles, bases, etc. This means we will not spawn it in for you either, so please don't ask. We will not use admin privileges, including teleporting, for anything outside of official admin use. There is an administrator log that documents every action performed by every administrator, including the server owner. This also means that we will not teleport you. Since loot restoration and compensation as a result of bugs or lost gear is such a sketchy and difficult task to fairly juggle, we will most likely not be returning people gear or items they claim to have lost without clear, 100%-verifiable video evidence demonstrating an incident from start to finish. Our administrators do not have the ability to see your bases, vehicles or where you log out on the map. If someone assaults/raids your base or steals your vehicle, you can have confidence that it wasn't an act committed using an administrative tool. DayZ, even now, can be an unstable creature. We have experience and knowledge in maintaining servers like this one. If we take a hit on something, we expect you to take a hit too.. tis the life of playing this game. but am I the only one who feels mocked? I think it will be remembered as the most troubled game in history to say no more and be ban. 7 years of play .. I laugh. I see people just waiting for weapons vehicles and helicopters (children of 10 years old I guess) I don't want to mention names because they are offended, but maybe dayz is obviously oriented towards them. but how is it possible that there are guys who are doing mod with missions ai ! I emphasize missions ai, the construction, etc. etc. and these each time make a disaster to every patch.

Agreed, we may be pissed off but the Devs need to be assured its not in the context of hate, I call it creative criticism and its an integral part of a developer/player/customer/community relationship, I know most of us love to dish out the issues and forget to mention what has no issues so forgive some of us for that, But we do not forget the good work you guys have put in, not at all, and thank you, But with every relationship things get a bit rocky here and there, We as the customer/players/community are just letting you the Devs know that there is some issues that need immediate work on by your part to keep this relationship healthy so to speak. Please dont hesitate to inform us of any ideas/polls etc.. we would love to be a part of a game thats the age of a small child now and to have involvement with its growth is something we would be honored being a part of whilst keeping a professional aspect of our places and positions by way of comments. I dont own a smart phone (yea yea w/e) nor do I even have a twitter thingy, facebook thingy, or Instragram thingy so please Devs there may be many such as I that dont use these platforms (or just me lol) and traditionally use these here forums as a direct primary form of information and communications line with you guys, so more involvement here would be seen as a closer pitch to professionalism and interaction with the DayZ Community. And please remember most of the users here are on the PC platform and I guess it feels like we are being pushed aside and forgotten in favor of the consoles, so please also make sure we are favored from that aspect being the start platform of this games birth. More content with less wait time and fast bug patching seem the only way to push and build the content side of this game to the levels we are meant to be seeing, It a 6am-10pm 5 days a week job but thats what youve been hired for, to put in meaningful work for the better of the users and the game, bigger the chunks the better, we will chew it out and throw bugs back at yas for squashing, no problem there. We look forward to more interaction with us here on the forums and as much as I love the dark (minus the exaggerated colored speckley attempt at rods and cone cells) We want to see almost real time happenings and progress, even if its the same thing sometimes id rather be bored with that then left to speculations of our thoughts and assumptions. Make us happy again and the game will be happy again. Cough..cough.. helis cough.. shoot from vehicles cough.. more content cough.., ahem.. sorry bout that. 😁😉

1. Crafting is too cumbersome and its possible buggy. The UI combine is too aggressive. 2. Base building should mean something not hammer it down so quickly. Make it a tad more indestructible then it is. 3. Sounds should be reduced by 35% to 60% due to i can hear everyone a mile away. 4. Vehicles should not be so hard to drive, meaning they are too all over the place, and off road? one fence kills the rad. Will add more as i go through them,

I do agree it is a turd fix... but i did find a private server that turned it almost off. Its fitting as there is only wilderness in the dark. Sitting inside a building with 1 flashlight floating around in a town so everyone can rush to the person and KOS him seems pointless. I am still trying to figure out where the survival is? basebuilding i am hearing is bugged. But i thought this was released? where is the fix by now. Vehicles ran better in older versions, mods seem to be correcting the bugs so far. -

Because not everyone plays community servers and people want the DayZ that was advertised from the very beginning. The gritty hardcore post-apocalyptic survival horror mmo. Instead we've got Army Guy Hero with a couple of vehicles -
... All you that are waiting for the introduction of helicopters. Have you even stopped to think about the current state of land vehicles? Building them takes ages, driving them is a headache, crash in one and you might survive.... Now go back to your sought after helicopters. Carrying rotorblades for 3 miles? Engine? Tail? Struts? Not to mention the electronics and fuel consumption. Then.... THEN ... You will try and fly that thing with bohemias well known and improved vehicle physics that we all come to love. No thanks, i stick to my two legs.

Survival shouldn’t be the main goal IMO when we have so many damn features missing still . These are Just some missing features from the ole’ Noggin that still need to be produced and put into game otherwise we paid for legit nothingness but what we’ve already seen in arma 2 dayz mod (or possibly even less): barricading aerial vehicles 2 wheeled vehicles advanced medical system advanced soft skills (pilots , medics , combat experts etc) bears cannabis , alcohol , tobacco and their positive / negative effects Zombie hordes climbing (shown about a year ago) shooting from vehicles (teased legit 2 years ago) rearview mirrors (“coming soon to a chernarus near you” MY ASS) Electrical repairing to reactivate town lights and substations (talked about a lot through the years) contaminated zones (where the hell are they Brian hicks??) carrying a body and/or helping a limping person Less than lethal weapons (thought they were all set and modeled 4 years ago , what happened?) diving under water (probably cut by now) birds to hunt (probably also cut for good - I swear this was talked about and on many early-year roadmaps , only to disappear on one of the heavily disappointing roadmaps of yesteryear) Namalsk map (like wtf) God there’s just so much to add (I’ve probably forgot some things too) and they have so very little time before we all go batshit ... what happened here ? Was it simply just a lust to push tons of copies that destroyed our well deserved beta and end of alpha which in turn created this Frankenstein mess of a game ? We were so close to finishing and now with all the feature cutting and manpower shifting from coding new features to building and advertising new clients (Xbox / ps4) we feel light years away from what dayz should be at its final state .
