must say there is alot that is playing just for the sake of killing others but there is servers that have rules against KOS'in fx. DayZ RP 1 its a Role Playing server where KOS'in aint allowed. DayZ Role-Playing Server Rules Combat - NO killing on sight! This rule is probably the rule that bears the most weight on our server. People come here to seek refuge from all the killing on the official hive servers, though; this does not mean that there won’t be any killing. Killing other players is ONLY allowed in following situations: - You are being shot at - You are being attacked/robbed/kidnapped by a bandit - You are a bandit and the person you are trying to rob/kidnap is trying to escape - Another player is stealing your items/vehicles - Another player has stolen your items/vehicles, you have 2 hours to reclaim them until they are no longer considered yours. You CANNOT kill other players when: - You robbed them and they complied (no executions, counts as RDM) - You see someone looting a corpse of your friend (does not count as stealing, warn them first) - They are driving their vehicle and you have not made contact KoS is considered killing a player or shooting a vehicle for no apparent reason, and without making contact. RDM is considered killing a player for breaking the rules after making contact. Killing players on sight is punishable by permanent ban. Random Deathmatch is punishable by a character reset, temporary ban, to a permanent ban for repeat offender. Exploits All hacking, executing scripts, flooding, network attacks and other illegal activities will result in a permanent ban and will be reported with GUID and IP of the offender to BattlEye. Avoiding death, damage or zombie aggro - either by disconnecting, shutting down the game or other not legitimate ways - will be punished with a character reset. Exploiting server lag, DayZ or ArmA bugs or using any other gameplay exploits will be punished with a temporary or permanent ban. Just wondering, I have rented a server and about three dayz in no vehicles have been spotted. Will this be permanent or is there a time where vehicles don't spawn after server creation?

Since hacking has become a fact of life I have decided to just laugh at their pathetic attempts at griefing, I refuse to get angry or butthurt with these guys because that is their aim. But I have had a few funny experiences with hackers. Was in Vybor one day and had a guy teleport to my group on a motorcycle and God mode, shot him about forty times with my M240 and he ran over all three of us and jumped off his bike and finished off my buddy then tried to shoot me (will admit I alt F4ed, still died passed out and bleeding but he did not get the kill). Had to laugh at that one because it caused complete chaos when he was driving around us for about a minute trying to hit us as we ran and shot at him (pretty sure I might have killed one of my group while spraying him). Had another a week ago in Lingor, was watching the prison and I see a bus parked out front but no zombie spawned, then the bus dissappears and I think great hacker on the server, what I did not notice was the fact that he had just teleported behind me and attempted to run me over but I was next to a tree so he hit that before he hit me. I ran around to the passenger side and opened up and he popped out and broke my leg as he emptied two clips. Over side chat I was laughing at how long it was taking a cheater to murder me and at this point he just laughed and left me there with 3K blood and a broken leg. Patched myself up and walked down the hill to find a hidden V35, typed over side chat what I had just found while also letting people know about the hacker in the bus and the thing teleports away right in front of me. To top it off I started talking shit about how terrible the guy was and he teleports to me again and proves that hackers just do not know how to shoot and wasted another three clips without one shot landing as a I zig zagged through a field. I left while I was still ahead at this point and aborted. Hands down the best run in was with some "friendly" hackers. They were spawning in vehicles and ammo boxes for people on the coast and I ran up to them and grabbed a satchel charge, when they were not looking I placed the satchel charge next to all three and added three murders to my count and quickly got off the server.

I got attacked and chased by a Hacker with the ingame name "Abdula" on the Server DE 2204 this noon. He was absolutely invincible (Did'nt react to shots nor car driven over him), teleported, spawned vehicles and bombs and shot with a silenced machinegun with high firerate and a crossbow skin... If needed I can upload more videos of him teleporting and spawning stuff. Whysoever the video got no sound but that isnt relevant.

DayZ Commander for me.......I do not know whether it may take longer to load or not....But I would think that if you have stored items, in tents or vehicles it should take longer?

There was a lot of weird stuff going on that night. A lot of people in ghillie suits around the place where the hackers teleported the vehicles. When one of them died, it looked like they spawned right back where they died. I'm probably wrong but I think the admin was hacking as well.

I believe the distribution of what spawns follows normal dayz rules so rare vehicles will remain rare, there will just be 1 or 2 more on the map compared to normal dayz.

I'll just comment on the river idea for now. Fuck yeah! But with an addendum. Most inland cities are established on the banks of rivers; they run through cities, not alongside them because of the access to trade routes normally only available to coastal cities and the ability to harness water power to drive water wheels. Starry and Vybor ought to have the river run right through them. This could make for an interesting tactical situation with only a small number of functional bridges allowing passage from South to North. These could serve as choke points for aggroed zed hordes and sniper central for players trying to get across one of the bridges on foot. Perhaps even a powerable Bascule bridge could be raised and lowered to allow vehicles to get from one side of the city to the other.

Worst hacks I have seen on Lingor is someone teleporting all vehicles to himself. Even when this happens the admin rolls back the server to before the incident then bans the hackers. Losing 3 minutes is a ton better than losing 2 weeks+. Get on a competent server with active admins. Also try a private hive, not the HFB shared hive....

Is that 100 vehicles really true? What kinda distribution is that? Mostly bikes+ATVs ? Just drove around with bus and I saw sand colored Ural + UAZ so little variation is nice and there are more choppers too :)

yeah they are easy use snipers, but i always have one incase of vehicles... and equally armed opponents.

Do you mean find a tent that you can pitch? Or find someone else's tents? You can find unpitched tents in grocery stores and randomly in other areas, just keep looking But if you're looking for camps that have already been set up - search the edges of the map. I spent half an hour on the western edge of the map the other day and found over half a dozen camp sites (most loaded with high end weapons, NVGs and other good tools etc) as well as vehicles. Just look at the map and try to find places where you think few people would have reason to go there, other than to try and hide a tent. NVG's are rare military spawns, you can find them at crash sites and barracks as well (I think). I've also heard that some military zombies have an extremely low chance of dropping them, but I can't really confirm that myself.

Just had an epic fight. We took out a heli while it was circling Devils Castle (where we had a bunch of vehicles including our own heli parked) but not before they managed to paratroop a couple of players nearby, one of which was shot North of the castle by our sniper and another who flanked up the tower and took out the two in our group up there, I drove up from Berezino hoping to take out the remaining player and had an awesome firefight at the castle walls, taking out one bandit that came up behind me when I was watching the heli and then another who caught me looting the body, before a third escaped in our heli, despite me emptying my m249 into it, they also took out all the cars while they were making their escape. I survived on <2k blood. So awesome!

I dont even think this would be the case... as you really dont need anyone you can do all stuff by your self. If you had even somekind of skills spread around and trained. Now you are in matrix that you have every thing loaded to your brain. I met a nice guy yesterday and he helped me, then we got shot at and he died. But I dont really have interest to meet up with him again as I dont really need the guy, I can find new dude to run with for an hour and then go apart. If the guy had been skill full medic or repairing vehicles I could seek him up when I need something fixed or If I need medical help or someone even more skilled to repair chopper. people dont group up unless they have some goal to achieve or something that they can help each other with.

Give the zombies and your interactions with zombies more capability of just punching as well. If fire is expanded on in the standalone, Zombies that are caught aflame by an explosion or flaming weapon (flamethrower / torch if ever implemented) can set fire to people / certain buildings. Barns in particular are extra vulnerable to flame. Whether zeds can be killed by the flame or simply depends on how long it takes to reduce the flesh to ashes is unsure.

Yes there is a hacker that frequents DE839 daily, he is on there now, he teleports all vehicles then spawns us over the ocean, just wondering if you know about it admins

Some of these ideas are good, But a plane? Kinda disfigures the original idea of Dayz. The community has to try all it can i suppose for a better player experience but what's the point? no zeds threat and OP vehicles and weapons it may just as well be another seperate Arma 2 mod.

I'm currently running a private server to test all the things out , and of course mainly that would be the vehicles - so i dont get any overloads with the server it works just fine with 5-6 people on it . Still , except for the cars which i'm awaiting response from support right now to this matter ( and yes I already received one answer so their support works too :) ) I've got another strange thing going on the server , well at least i haven't seen anything like that anywhere else it seems . The spawning of stuff inside the houses is strange , I mean most of the spawn appears only when you run into the place and wait few minutes around - when you aproach a new city , it's empty for a few minutes and slowly fills with loot. Is that like that for all the servers or something outstanding ?

Lol its not a simulation if you hive wipe because you cant get geared/suck at getting vehicles. Its a hardcore game which is sadly intended for a casual farmville trash community. If it was a simulation, your guy wouldn't run for 50m straight without getting tired. You wouldn't survive 8 m9/g17/revolver/m1911 rounds to the chest. and a revolver does damage. People wouldnt kill eachother in elektro anywhere near as often as in game. you wouldnt repair a vehicle by finding some random ass tubing and a tool box. supplies would be much more scarce. people (at least survivors) would be much smarter and just run into a city popping off gunfire. I can go on, but if you think this a simulation you are a fucking imbecile. Your an imbecile because you dont understand the concept of simulation or you dont get the concept of hardcore, get either one right.

Well helicopter do spawn for me that's already something , but I'm sure that the core of the little to no spawns is that minimal amount of vehicles you can set , I've literally found almost every spawned car from the logs so far - might be that only skoda didn't yet spawn anywhere . And yes eventho I do not need to change the difficulty level , I don't have any option on drop down box as well . Also guys who could set more on lingor server could it be that it's something to do with the amount of slots on server ? Cause maybe that 40 spots I have is too low ?

This could have something to do with Bliss having chopper spawn bugs. They fixed it now btw, so maybe its a matter of time before Vilayer follows. As far as i know, they are using Bliss server software :) correct me if im wrong another thing to remember is, if you set it to 30 vehicles, you will NOT get 30 vehicles at once. All vehicles have x% spawn chance, so if your REALLY unlucky, you can wait a loooooong time for vehicles. Dunno how the Vilayer guys do it, but if they run the vehicle script at EVERY server restart, you could restart the server 10+ times to get your vehicles.
