The game is much better now. Anyone saying otherwise is not looking at the options now, just the nostalgia then. For instance I just made a M4A1 CCO SD w/Flashlight. That wasn't possible then. I like the struggle now, it half reminds me of the days when I had no map and no clue where I was at. When you used the stars as your guide, you asked your friends which way shadows were casting, when you found your first car(van), when you couldn't pitch a tent in a forest, had to be in an open field. My group and I have just recently went back to Vanilla. It felt great not knowing everything again, not having a map/flashlight/pistol upon spawning in. I am also in the boat that believes Helicopters ruined the maps, and that vehicles should be rare and broken when found. And let's not mention the hacking that was going on in 2012 compared to now....

I was on the server last night, was pretty cool, but when do you think the traders will be updated for the overwatch guns/ammo? I got a gold desert eagle burning a hole in my pocket.

First you say you want to kill players with weapons, that could shoot back maybe? And to do this you went to Elektro to kill freshies?

Caveland, if you want to get rid of the grass poking through your large concrete pads us Clutter_cutters. also nobody should need to edit their launch parameters, unless they are simply pressing the "launch dayz" button near it.

What a joke dude, so you went to Elektro to camp sniper hill so you could "do some pvp against other people with weapons". you went to a fresh spawn area to kill players with your end game gear that had just spawned and looking for rifles in the fire towers. A lot of server might frown upon this. Maybe next time you want to "do some pvp against other people with weapons" you should try an airfield or Stary....

your GUID is the thing that dictates what you spawn with.
