Well my server was up and running straight away after paying and took just 15 minutes for ersan to change the location to WDC and then after having trouble copying my database from my old Survival Servers database it took him another 10 minutes to do that.

I am incredibly impressed at the moment and can't believe it took less than 30 minutes to do something it would have taken Survival Servers 4 days to do.

If you delete all your vehicles in the database and respawn them all they should all be working on land now. For some reason it was using the cherno spawn locations but Ersan has fixed it :D

Just had a look at the player position pic, that looks awesome for monitoring players and catching teleporters.

Is it live? I have used one before and it showed people who were not on the server anymore, not sure if they were dead bodies or something

Now that I have the map, I'm noticing that about half of the vehicles on my Namalsk server are spawned out in the ocean. Is the vehicle spawner putting vehicles in inaccessible places, or do you think it's hackers?

Actually! I just found a bug that was using the Chernarus spawns when a server was set to Namalsk, if you clear your server's vehicles and run the spawn script now they should spawn correctly.

Just so you know the spawnpoints are accurate we added a 'spawns' button to the map interface and I took a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/LJ1cX.jpg

Right now it just shows players that have been updated within the last 24 hours, we are going to make a dropdown that lets you select the time period and may add a feature that only shows players that are currently on the server.

To be fair this is by far the best host I've dealt with, servers are setup straight away and ready to rock and roll, support is very good and always explained properly (for the less tech savy amonst us) I love this.

However tonight with this new map I'm having some issues, cant get anything to show on the actual map...sure its just a glitch though and really looking forward to the updates.

Great host to anyone thinking of signing up :)

What browser are you using? We only tested it with IE9, Chrome and FF

EDIT: We just fixed a problem on IE9 - if you're using that, try now.

Perfect, am using IE9 and its all working fine this morning.

As I said, the customer service and general service provided by this host are brilliant...I cant recomend DayZ.ST enough based on the level of service provided by some of the other providers I've used.

Think the players currently on would be great, especially to monitor teleporting and so on. Having it show from 24 hours would have about 10000 red spots on the map lol

Any of you guys that run rMod on your server through dayz.st, how in the world do you change the battleye to not kick you for remoteexec createvehicle #40 when you crash lets say a Littebird or an Apache and when using the artillery battery computer to shoot the M119, or using a vehicle like the GRAD or the AA rocket humvee when you shoot the rockets? How do you see the script log, cause mine is always blank.I turned off battleye to play because I was tired of it kicking me everytime I wrecked but my server got owned in a very short amount of time with everyone getting masskilled and such.

I know how to fix the crashing helicopter problem, I don't think we ever identified which script restriction was kicking for shooting rockets. Scripts.log shouldn't be blank - send us an e-mail at admin@dayz.st with your account info so we can check into it.

Also added the ability to view/edit players inventories (minus backpacks) to the Map:

It's not perfect yet and some players will bug out on some items or not show any items at all, but we're working on it - consider this beta. The UI is also not final or prettified, but it is functional.

If there's any item images that are missing or in the wrong slot please let me know, I've been continuously adding missing items and images to the database when I encounter them.

There are more than 100, the best way is to filter 'DayZ.ST' in your server browser. If the naming scheme was not changed by the customer it will say "Private Hive" after the time zone in the server hostname.

This inventory editor is hit or miss. Sometimes it works and sometimes it fails leaving that player with zero gear. You can confirm if it worked or not by looking at survivor tables. This will be a very welcome addition once it's sorted out.

Are we able to change the loot spawn tables right now? I can't find anywhere to do so.

Also I tried adding a building using the building and instance_building tables and it crashed the server. Then went and tried it as a deployable and it wouldn't show up in game after a reset. Any help?

EDIT: I got a building to be added but it only showed up after several restarts, some other instance_deployed items wont show up for a while or not at all. Any way to fix this or reason behind it not working all the time?

How can I add the community banlist to the server?

Is there someway to blacklist scripts on the server, like if someone runs certain script it will kick/ban him?

Can you remove #128 and #139 from showing in scripts.log? Those just make sript.log so hard to read.

I have allso problems when adding buildings. They just dont show or server stucks on loading. Any tutorial for this or is it just buggy at this moment?

Other than that its been very smoothly running. I actually had full server yesterday (50/50) and server handled it pretty well.

Trae & Sukk are you running rMod? At present there are 2 ways to add buildings. You can either create a new mission file with buildings you added in the editor, then email it to Ersan. He can replace the mission file, but note that it can quickly become incompatible when bliss updates.

The other way is to change the object id of a deployable to a new class name of a building, though if your not using rMod the amounts of buildings you can put down is kinda low

@Trae The lootspawns are buried in the dayz_code.pbo -Config.bin - CfgBuildingLoot.hpp. I pretty much doubt you will be able to modify them as it consist of unpacking the PBO, getting to CfgBuildingLoot, editing it, re-packing it with the exact same key sign as the author used.

Otherwise everyone will get kicked for wrong sig.

Obviously disabling signature detection would fix this, but then your open to a whole new level of hacking.

Also, every player would need you modded PBO, that you would also need to create a Besign for

But Ersan is very good at what he does, so i may be overlooking something and it may be something he can do

I don't have an ETA for whitelist support, sorry - I'm waiting for whitelist pro to mature a little more, another company added it and I see a lot of people posting on the forum about how it isn't working. If the program doesn't become more stable after we've finished the map scripts we'll start working on our own whitelist implementation.

The community banlist is installed by default, the most recent version is setup when you order a server.

You can send us an e-mail at admin@dayz.st with the lines you want to add to the scripts.txt/createvehicle.txt/etc. - working on a way for people to do this from the control panel. FTP access will also solve this problem.

If you can tell me which lines they are I can remove them, the line numbers don't match up to the script restriction for some reason so I don't know which is which - here are the originals: http://code.google.com/p/dayz-community-banlist/source/browse/#git%2Ffilters

Yeah I merged in the bliss buildings and messaging code a few days ago so there's a 'building' and 'instance_building' table that are supposed to be for spawning buildings - I haven't done any testing with it though and their other package (BlissMessaging) doesn't seem to work at all. If you can't get the building tables to work I recommend using the deployable tables like before.

Also updated the inventory editor today - it should be much more reliable now (no more parsing errors or players without inventories), it shows which backpack the player has (but not yet the contents), and added a few items that were missing. Please let me know if there are any problems.

Anyway to access the backups directly, or restore individual players, or just the vehicles? I've had players get glitched or hacker killed and all I can do is either: a) nothing B) give them some supplemental gear, which isn't really fair. I would like to be able to go into the backups and restore a player individually if that is in anyway possible.

(Even just the files would be nice, as I'm fine working within the database.)

The easiest way is to always do a manual backup yourself of the 3 important tables.

1. Instance_vehicles

2. Profile

3. Survivor

To restore a certain person you need to goto the profile page find the players unique ID next to their name then goto Survivor and sort by the ID you will then find the same ID, then you just need to copy all the information from that survivor into the correct data field.

If you are using the backups already created by DayZ.st then restore an old database you know works delete all the data from the Survivor profile except the one you want to move across, now click export and backup the file.

Now go back into the Control Panel and restore the database you actually want to use, and click restore now go back into the survivor part and delete the player you want to restore (just deleting one profile) now click import and then import you previous back up of that person.

The DayZ.ST backup is very very good but you can't beat a good old fashioned personal backup for extra piece of mind.
