You shoulda seen the town that was made on the debug line, shit had airplanes and barracks and churchs and ships and all sorts of crazy buildings, was nuts.

Only 1 person was actually cheating, it's not cheating to receive hacked weapons if you don't spawn them in yourself. As far as the GUID ban goes you can buy hacked CD keys online for 5$ a pop. Also you can request a IP change or just unplug your modem for 15 min.

Please children get educated. If you only knew how rampant the cheating was you'd quit the game right away. So many hacked & duped items, so many people using ESP. You just see the thunderdomes every now and then and freak out but that isn't even the tip of the iceberg. For a few bucks they can come right back after the so called "battleeye" ban wave that is heralded as so amazing.

Is this how you justify hacking and or accepting hacked gear?

Well your a typical idiot as most hackers will have a dynamic IP address so chances are when they buy another copy it will be under a different IP address let me tell you all a little something banning by GUID is pointless as we/i have scripts that use another persons GUID so your probably banning people who dont hack i happen to know the person who is hacking in the admin log he like myself use to play legitimate until (at some point) you get sick of looting for 6 hours only to be dropped from the sky or killed by an invisible person i will not play this game legitimate until a better anti cheat is made (battleye is useless) or a hardware ban is implemented all i do on this game now is drop ammo crates down for noobies and kill scrip people who are invisible or destroying the server (evidently) i say now that ive killed 20+ hackers on AU2 and i spend alot of my time on there so if you do happen to see a hacker that doesn't kill you its probably me :b im more than happy for you to ban my current ip address or my GUID or my CD key as it will not stop me from playing

How do you get chat logs off the servers btw?

Been looking for ages and can't find it.

I have BERCon and console access but don't see chat in the logs unless it's near my person in game...

^ pretty much this. Playing the game is a joke right now "legit." You can spend all day in the wilderness alone never seeing a person and get thunderdomed or teleported or any number of other BS. Much less you go to a high player zone where you're sure to run into a aimbotter/esper/teleporter.

Plus why would I spend my limited gaming time attempting to run to a major city and get some gear when someones got 20 tents on another server full of hacked duped gear. You better believe I've got my own hacked duped gear and I just kill myself till I get the city near it and run to it and fully gear up in 5 minutes. Why? Because -EVERYONE ELSE- is. Doing anything else is retarded and a complete waste of time.

You don't even need to hit up your friendly local hacker, just run along the debug line and you'll find duping tents full of high end gear and you can just siphon it into your own tents.

Regardless of the reason you may believe justifies you in banning people you're wrong. Read the rules or run a non-hive server. Nothing I did was wrong. More like par for the course. It's crazy how clueless most server owners are.

After the constant spamming of "Rhino your server is hacked" on steam and via twitter, I finally decided to take a look at logs, and this is what I found. Also, why would you use vehicle and direct chat guys, come on....

Just curious, has anyone actually had a server black listed from the hive?

I have a feeling if there was anyone black listed they more than likely just moved off the hive.

chat is recorded in the console log (server_console.log) but it's only logged when said person using chat next to another person - otherwise it wont show up. At least in my testing this was the case.

Stop trying to justify being a shitcunt that can't play legit. I get effected by hackers almost every single time I log into Dayz, you don't see me loading in guns, turning on god mode or using other people's GUIDs (that are fucking innocent). The fact that you would actually use someone else's GUID is wrong on so many levels.
