It depends on where the restriction is in your scripts.txt. The easiest way to figure out what happened is to plop open scripts.log and find the line where it removed you from the server. It'll look like this: #122 is what this player saw as they were kicked with the reasoning to the right of it.

system98 nailed it I think. If you don't want to be called out for admin abuse you should only ban for things you have logs on. I also do understand that this tracking you speak of would not show in the logs, but that's why in this case you shouldn't have banned. There's pretty much no way you can without a doubt tell if someone is doing this AND prove it.

I'm not sure how mods feel about this as far as servers on the public hive go but you can edit server_updateObject and comment out the following line: diag_log ("HIVE: UPDATING OBJ: "+ str(_this) + " / UID: " + str(_uid));

it may be the correct version and all but you have to edit the server.cfg to change the host name (where the version is listed)

Contact your managed hosting provider, it should be their problem to deal with. Besides, who's to say the "package" from your managed host was properly setup. I mean without you being able to verify things yourself there's no way to know for sure.

if you're using steam go to game library > tools and install the arma 2 oa server. Run it and connect to it and check the server_console.log file it makes in your arma 2 oa folder. I bet there's an easier way but this is what you get before I get coffee.

I was playing on US 2851 and repaired the bus in cherno and drove it up to the southern airfield. I'm too tired to take it any further so I'm leaving it here for whoever wants it. Also vehicles are saving on this server so enjoy! :)

grab the latest wine beta (SVN or from wines repo) and use winetricks to install vcrun2008. Works like a charm.
