tents and trucks/cars need to be fixed they loose gear when the server restarts

Rocket - Is there any chance of putting a limit on the Respawn button usage? Like, can only be used once every 1 or 2 hours?

This would still help both in reducing server load from people respawning constantly to get a favoured spawn point and would also give people a way out when they glitch into houses/traps etc.

Just a thought :)

Do you have any plans in the future for fixing the Zombie Zig Zagging?

He said something like that: "To make infected move/run properly - game (ARMA2) needs total overhaul of waypoint system"

so, wait for stanalone...

Nice update! Those graphical glitches were random and annoying. Cheers Rocket :D

Leaking helicopters! I've nearly crashed twice now because my helicopter is leaking, even though it's 100% repaired.

I'm being serious here so don't take it as a troll. You also have to repair all the glass on the helicopter for it to stop leaking fuel. It sounds stupid, I know, but that's what we had to do. You need like 8-10 windcreen glass aswell so it can be a pain. Hope that helps you :)

- I give items to other players and instant disconnect (database server does not record it). Then i come back to the server and i have items + player which i gaved the items.

then its not fully repaired, i think you need like 5 scrap metal for different "Hit Objects"

What about doing something about stuff disappearing on drop? I've encountered many times that my main weapon has disappeared when I accidentaly pick something else up in that slot. Earlier today I lost everything in my backpack when picking up a new czech backpack from the floor in the supermarket in Cherno.

Edit to say that the backpack I dropped completely disappeared.

never happened to me or my group, when dropping the items in the grass they are very difficult to see.

those graphical glitches is reason i am not playing currently, i lost my character that was alive for 5 days with alot of gear from a chopper. just to die to some guy in a hanger with graphic glitch poping out everywhere and unable to see anything. Than starting out again, and it keeps poping out... blocking my vision drives me crazy....

are zombie spawns suposed to be instant and infinite? me and a friend killed about 150+ zombies in the main airport by ourselves. at a point i left him doing that by himself and kept watching the respawn from the airport tower, and right before killing a wave another already respawned and ran towards him, over and over. there were noone else there, or we wouldve been easily killed while joking around with the zombies.

there was no way in hell to keep stealth, since they kept seeing us from very far away. after looting using pistols. we went inside a warehouse and kept 1 shoting their heads with akms until we started to worry about our ammo count, and just ran away. plain easy.

we had already looted the airport which had nothing worthwhile anyway. i guess ill never find a vehicle in this game, every server must have an admin clan gathering them all or something. yes my next step is to hunt them, i pretty much already did everything else in the game. plain surviving is too easy, and already tired of deathmatchs in cherno and eletro, even with the crappy weapons nerf that took all the realistic tactical approach out of the game (i wasted 2 pistol clips on a guy while eh was firing and hitting me with an akm for about 20 seconds till i killed him). weapon damage is a joke.

yes the game is still too easy but infinite instant respawn zombies are annoying as hell, unless its in line with the weapons nerf and this is all a plan in order to make an arcade shooter deathmatch game for anyone that doesnt have a scoped sniper rifle. just with annoying zombies on the background.

i love the idea of this game, and i love that it exists (closest to what i believe would be a great game), but it seems to be taking wierd turns whilst not having a clear path ahead.

even when im the one being shot till im 2000 blood and just keep running away like nothing is happening (not countign diziness and grayscale screen) i just cant stop thinking "DAFUQ are this bullets made of"

TIP for those who don't know how to place a tent:

1 Open your inventory.

2 Start runing.

3 While you are runing with your Inventory opened you must right Click the tent and deploy it.

Can't you just realease a fast hotfix for the glitches ? We are a lot who can't play anymore.

Eliminating duping in the mod is impossible.

I can improve things better than they are, but this must be solved in the engine source.

Call me too optimistic but I think we might get 1.7.2.5 before Wednesday this week!

It's just my feeling based on how fast Rocket updates list of fixes, but my guts might be right.

Regarding duping>ah so we gotta wait for standalone? This is a bit sad but if thats the way it is, we will have to suck it up and continue. I do not dupe sheit but I imagine there are hundreds of people who do and will continue to do so (also they will dupe mags so this new fixes to ammo count will affect only honest players).

Probaly a database check coud solve such problem. As in explane: ID 343434 is reserved to player 1 and if transfered to player 2, database woud check the ID and give that item to player 2. While player 1 woud stay without items and no duplication is posible, becouse database denies it ( ID 343434 assigned to player 1).

I might be wrong, but something like that woud help to solve the duping :) (im sure database guru's woud find beter ways to fix this).

Some bugs I have found in the game that still exist in 1.7.2.4:

- Changing clothing while having an ALICE pack (and possibly other, non-standard packs as well) equipped, resets the pack to the Coyote Patrol Pack with 8 random items from the ALICE pack still intact in the Patrol Pack (so if you had 20 items in the ALICE, you'd end up losing 12 items).

- Tiny ledges and borders are still more lethal than Zeds or Players.

I so wish that duping would be eradicated and those bushwookies with .50cals would need to start counting the bullets...

this please!!! at the moment if done right one tent is infinite supplies. just defeats whole point of the game. i dont mind tents but atleast stock it youself and replace items u used.... not just get it duped back.

edit. didnt see responses. was there no other options to solve this? are we really stuck with duping until major game change?

I also dont like the pistols being soooooo weak! Against army z's yeah 4-5 shots maybe, but normal z's 2-3 shots with any pistol should put them down.

What pistol are you using? Body mass shots with M1911 are dropping them like flies. Makarov is a pee shooting zed tickler, ditch it as soon as you can if that's what you are using.
