If you started with a decent load out then there wouldn't be much incentive to find things and you wouldn't mind dying as much.

The game is setup to make you want to survive. The game is high stakes and that's what makes it interesting.

The game is kind of set up in tiers.

Zombies are the lowest tier, it doesn't take much to survive against zombies.

Players are the highest tier, there is no way to fully protect yourself from players.

And in between there are dozens of other challenges...

And to all the player killers who will probably come in here, diss me and say I suck at the game. Yes, I suck at Day Z, and yes, I am moaning about other players. Frankly, I couldn't give a flying fuck, as my life is far better than most who will attempt to insult me i.e trolls. start after respawn, broken legs, broken arms...first u have to find a wheelchair, ok u found the wheel chair but damn it needs set of wheels some scrap metal to repair it...ok u repaired the wheel chair, but somehow u managed to break the tires..damn ..Crawl to find new tires..ok have new tires. NOW it is time to progress in the game/get faster; find crutches :)..but shit i forget to mention that your leg has an open wound and it got infected if u don’t find antibiotics (like 5 boxes)u will lose your leg...and plz put the antibiotics’ somewhere very high so u must climb for them like 10 mins...and not to forget still no wep...and yes their should be the electric wheelchair, but u must find the battery first, to fill up the battery u should find an electric plant, repair it....

The simple fact is most people will kill on sight because they expect the other player to do the same - 'shoot first, ask questions later'

There should be more incentive to team up, and more consequences to killing other players (I don't have an answer on how to implement that, I'm sure the devs and other players have some ideas though!).

There wouldn't be much point to this game if player killing wasn't allowed, or was somehow disabled - this is just the nature of the game and adds to the excitement of it, but I do understand why people complain about being killed when they have no loot................

If you die - that's your fault. People have tendency to blame others for their own mistakes.

Dayz is a sandbox game, people choose their own playstyle - one may focus on survival, other one on hunting survivors and yet another one on hunting other bandits. If you choose survival, and die to other player - you have failed in your game. Start over, play smart, be careful, learn the game and you will get better.

Or one can go to forums and whine like a little girl, but that will not make you better player, will not make others to stop killing you. It will do the opposite - PKers will want to kill you even more, since it hurts you.
