What has come to light is they are unbanning cheaters and allowing them to play AND KNOWINGLY sell their cheating programs IN GAME ON THEIR SERVERS. And they are doing this so the cheaters DO NOT DDOS them anymore. This is the game's No. 1 problem and certainly the game with the most cheaters, but nothing, absolutely nothing is only made by Bohemia. I've been denouncing it here for a very long time, but according to this forum and its contributors, all players should register their game in order to be taken seriously and to be believed and we must constantly provide proof. .. As far as I'm concerned, I totally quit DayZ after about 4000h of play due to one last massive cheating experience on the DayOne servers which are infested with cheaters. I wish good luck to those who are still trying to enjoy a game that will eventually die of itself given the increasing number of cheaters every day and by Bohemia's inaction in the face of this scourge that is the cheat on their game. The directive comes from the top in these totalitarian regimes. Always has. Biden asks China "can you please stop hacking our institutions and holding them ransom for hundreds of millions of dollars?" TenCent is the biggest gaming company in China. They're invested in BI and are worth 590 billion dollars. They're completely at the mercy of the government. Please write a strongly worded letter to these people and tell them to knock it off. I literally shot coffee out onto my monitor and keyboard upon reading that statement. It is unfortunately, true. I stopped worrying about making servers for the masses long ago. The masses want easy mode. And to be reimbursed when they lose anything. F THAT! Yet Sunnyvale runs several of the most popular DayZ servers and has built a very large community around it. etwas 138 Posted January 18, 2022 for me, this videos always seem scripted. i'm not surprised really, more by anarchys reaction. so this guy is hunting down cheaters on a particular well known server for years. and STILL - every week he can post another vid of new cheaters. u might think the cheaters have learnt and play on some other server, but strangely enough they all come back to that server where they get hunted. hmmmm. There's nothing scripted about what he does, he does what a good admin SHOULD be doing. Never interfering with legit players, sometimes Anarchy breaks that rule, but that's his prerogative for entertainment, I guess. It's been serious since at least 2018 when BI was put on notice this was happening. It's hard form me to fathom there is no check in the DayZ executable if a client SHOULD be allowed to connect or send data or not. Seems that is a MAJOR security problem. Just to know that you can start sending simple RPC commands to any DayZ server at any time is just ridiculous. All you need to know are some player GUIDS and you jsut send a bogus GUID for yourself and BOOM, feel free to make the whole server vomit continuously or move bases or delete them, or jsut send soooo many server commands that the server crashes.
