DO YOU NEED TO BUY 60 SLOTS TO HAVE A 60 PLAYER SERVER OR JUST THE AMOUNT FOR YOUR SQUAD ??????

This is the info that is misleading.

We have a 15 man squad. I want them to have priority, but don't want a 15 man server, I want a 60 server but don't want to pay for 45 strangers to come and play a vanilla set up. NOT WORTH it.

Remember we have XBL subscriptions to pay too!!!

You are paying to rent a server that is either password protected or not(public). You need as many slots as you want players to be on it.

If you don't want your own server, then play on the official ones.

The fact that XBL and PSN subscriptions are a thing is a Micro$oft and Play$tation thing.

Thanks for that crippling info. so we likely to have month 1 5000 10 player servers that no one can get into and all the 150 public servers left empty. 

All servers should be 60 slot but only the password holders have any power or priority.

To have to buy 60 slots for my squad to have the 45 slots being used by salty ungrateful backstabbing DayZ Players is not what I am about.

The fact that we pay subscription SHOULD be considered within the pricing. we ALREADY paying to play this game online.

As much as I love this game I will not be paying £100 a month for the same Vanilla experience I get in public servers. Bad Call B I. YET AGAIN!!

So in all 

 

Game £50

Subscription to XBL also now £50 Annually.

Plus The £10 - £100 A MONTH Server fee ...

=  NAH MATE!!!!!

Will we be able to adjust the time acceleration for day and the time acceleration for night on two different parameters? @ImpulZ

Probably a dumb question but will our server be wiped every month after renewal? What I mean is if we have a rented server on automatic renewal every month, our bases and loot, etc. wont be wiped right?

 

Also will character customization be available?

@ImpulZ Quick question, On private server if we park a car does it get despawned if not used for few days? any way to adjust so it does not disappear?

If i buy a server can i change the chance of rarer loot spawning. Like increasing or decreasing the chance of a specific gun spawning?

Dark night the answer is no. You can not make items spawn or adjust loot spawning at this time if even ever. You can adjust day night speed. See where people login at , put out server messages and password protect your server. You should have the ability to wipe the server though. There is no way to ban someone as of now but that has been said be only temporary.

no , maybe down the road but not at this time

Should have read... Ask us below about any further details on the release of private servers for consoles and we'll reply if we feel like it.

Pretty sad you made this out to be a discussion about private servers and you can't be bothered to reply. Also quite ridiculous that some simple updates as to the release of the update are apparently top secret. It's obvious you have quite a bit of interest again in the game after being introduced to console and a simple "We are hoping for the update to land on the 27th if everything goes well." is out of the question. We understand delays, we don't understand ignoring us.

Hi if it is the same as Ark, you set a password. Once there is a password anyone who want to join requires the password to access and play. You as the owner can change the password at any time and then redistribute it to the player's you want on your server. 

Some people put the password and server in a forum allowing access to any who find it..

I didn't have any issues with my Ark server, however it was for select players only to stop looting by allow players.

|You can choose to wipe whenever you wish with a private server.

 

And a Bargain at £700 Per Annual for 100 slot server. LOL So that's me OUTTY!!!

So the cost of this Game overall will be … The Price of a Gaming PC where you can Play DayZ with updates and Mods. Hmmm!?!?  My mind boggles.

That made me giggle lol but one good point tonote with the xbox app is u can look/Change ur server on the fly as ps4 we will have 2 use a pc 2 check
