donnyuk78 91 Posted June 8, 2019 So i killed two people today and it felt wrong. one was creeping round my base so i hide as it was dark as i don't see anything when its dark 😂 i was hoping they were just passing though, left it 5 minutes and it seemed clear so i started sweeping the base to make sure... I found him at the front gate.... He didn't see me and I was sat behind him for 20 seconds before a killed him. Looking through his stuff i don't think he was out to kill me. The 2nd was at a small mitlary base and i killed what turns out to be a freshie. This game makes you do things you don't want to .... Man 😂 Need to be vocal i think ! Had one guy following a few of us today. I turned around and fired off a few rounds around him. He turned around and ran. Have only killed one so far on ps4. I don’t like it either. I don’t like it either. Sometimes it’s necessary to shoot first. I often stick my neck out and talk to people, but rarely do so at military bases.. Just not worth the risk imo. I find myself doing it more myself. It's crappy, but through my experience in the game, nice guys die (that would be ME....usually). Go with your gut. If something seems "off", it probably is. I saw him and he never saw me. I could have killed him 20 times over but I don't like to KOS. Once he finally saw me he started the I'm friendly dance... so I did it too... turns out he was only doing it to give himself time to get his gun out to shoot me in the head. I literally caught the dude bear handed... and he kills me... like the other dude said... I'm also getting a little sour and sometimes if something feels off I'll KOS now too... never used to tho... CPUTestUnit 10 Posted June 12, 2019 (edited) You have to Keep on trying and you will therfore Keep on dying, but it is the Right way I think, because good skilled Players with plenty of gear should not have the Need to kill poor equiped Players if not deem necessary. However, all of that is Dayz and all of it counts into this to make the game so great as it is. The last thing I want is the implementation of any Regulation related to possible PVE only fans or defensive modes and simmilar. That would ruin the experience but to much complains About getitng killed might lead into such a direction? Finally its a Sandbox and that means Players will play the style they like and some might believe he Plays a psychotivc mass Killer and so it be, meanwhile another one might want to be a rescue man delivering Food to the starving new spawns. As said that is what makes Dayz so great and seperates it clearly from a lot of PVP shoter games out there, Both is possible and that is what I love in this game. ViperAK47 3 Posted June 12, 2019 (edited) I emptied my scorpion into some pour souls chest as he was sheltering me from the rain and showing me how to make a fire, but I had just spawned in, had places to be and really needed his mountain backpack(which I ruined) and water. It wasn’t worth it and made me feel like sh*t for hours. Never going to screw over a nice guy again... save it for the duper’s, they can have it! Oh wow yea thats shitty man 😂also that type of stuff makes nice people start to KOS. If your in a rush then this isnt the game for that.....
