Is the SKS a civilian loot (like the shotgun or Mosin) or a military one (like AK)? I'm asking because I don't know where to look for it, where did you find your SKS?

Most of the SKS rifles that I've found have been in military tents.  I haven't found any in civilian spawn points.  This has been on official servers.

Have found many in military tents and barracks. I mean many. Some barracks can have 2-3 in the same building. This was in Village Community server

SKS is military loot for t1,t2,t3 locations. If look in real life - SKS is Soviet union was military carabine untill '79. In 1980-th all those carbines was go on conservation. Since '90th this carabine is hunting weapon. ('cause 7.62x39 was removed from military ammunition).
