No, sadly they did not.

The article you posted is talking about the new experimental patch for PC version: 

These are the patchnotes for the latest Xbox update:

It's better to come straight to the source. I wouldn't listen to "newsweek" media You can always find the newest Xbox patchnotes in the "Xbox" section of the forums:

EDIT: It has been brought to my attention that "Beans" is actually used to agree with posts. Not a downvote as I had previously thought.

yep had a few people on the forum bring up this article, basically internet news sources that are not direct status reports or patch notes from the dev team or BI, generally range from bogus to simply badly written. Looks like someone accidentally combined the xbox and Exp PC update notes into one article either through ineptitude or a sad attempt at clickbait.
