NoK_Drayen 7 Posted May 7, 2017 Change the noise, when you have a gun on your back. I do not know about you, but personally I find the sound of Pan really annoying

DannyDog 532 Posted May 8, 2017 Would be interesting if it was a layered sound based on what items you have in your backpack or inventory. So if you had a bottle of water it would slosh around. Or boxes of ammo it would make a rattling sound. You could hear the amount of items someone has in their backpack based on how many layered sounds they're playing when moving around. clop clop clop

With survival becoming more difficult in future, players will want to carry around more food and water, rather than simply relying on water pumps and apple trees. However, having layered sounds would actually incentivise carrying less, not more, in order to remain stealthy.
nl 986 Posted May 8, 2017 Well in that case I should also be able to silence the different items on my person. Like wrapping ammo and such stuffs in shirts (perhaps making them less quickly available and taking up more space), making sure my canteens are always either completely full or empty so they won't make sloshing sounds. I would be perfectly capable in RL to have a near silent load out by using compression straps, clothing items and smart packing.
Storymaster 143 Posted May 10, 2017 I love how the character sounds when running with a longgun on the back. The sound suite is very immersive.

This is a nice suggestion, they could implement some types of items to make a additional sound, not one sound per item(that would be crazy for devs {+1 year of development}). The suggestion oven seems to be on fire!
