More attachments / items.

Some of the more powerful things would need duping fixed first or everyone would have one.

 

I would like to see.

 

US military grade mildot optic.

PU scope variant for the repeater (would also be nice if the hunting scope fit on it).

Reflex / Kobra reflex sights.

Range finder attachment on side rails.

Side rail red dots.

Rail that you can nail on to the side or bottom of wood based guns with a hammer and a box of nails to be able to attach flashlights and foregrips. (SKS, AK wooden handguard, Repeater, Sporter.22 and many other wooden guns).

Custom bolts for bolt action rifles (not an expert so not sure how this would work but maybe a straight pull bolt you can bolt without moving the scope).

Magpull mag attachments for faster reloading times.

Wooden bayonet made from sharp sticks and duct tape.

Leg holster / side holster. (maybe a specific pair of trousers).

Crafted pistol holster made from rags and a sewing kit.

Crafted face scarf with option to dye.

also full spray paint capability on more guns. (black, green and camo).

Since we're talking about this kind of stuff, I really want to be able to put the pistol scope on the Magnum.

If you want that many attachments, sure but they will be RARE as fuck. If you want them to be common, go play Arma 3.

these are suggestions for things I think would better the game to inspire and help out the devs with ideas not OP demands. the most op things in my list are side sights and side rail range finders.

  1. Not sure what you mean by "US military grade mildot optic" - the most common gunsights used by the US military (ACOG and AimPoint) are already implemented. If you're talking about an Elcan C79 or M145, those would be fine.
  2. The PU Scope wouldn't fit on a Rossi R92 and the thing doesn't have any areas clearly marked for optics. Putting on the hunting scope would be okay, I guess.
  3. There's a Barska shortdot WIP that will probably end up in game at some point, and with the other optics I can definitely see a Kobra being added. An Eotech would be cool but we don't need to over saturate ourselves with optics.
  4. Don't see a reason for this - many scopes have a built in rangefinder and you're asking for a lot to be able to do this on the gun (not to mention that it wouldn't fit on any rifles we have anyway, since none of the "snipers" we have contain RIS mounts)
  5. These aren't common by any means and there's really no reason to take the time to implement them. I mean, they're cool, but the amount of optics is limited so the use of such an attachment would be no better.
  6. Aftermarket rails are a maybe, but nailing MIL-STD-1913 mounts to your gun is a very, very bad idea.
  7. Could be interesting but there's really no reason for it. Also, manual bolting will mean you no longer shift out of your scope view automatically, so that issue is no longer relevant anyway.
  8. The actual effect they have on reloading is negligible. It makes it easier to grip, sure, but I don't think any performance increase is worth the time trying to add them.
  9. I'm against duct taping attachments in general, and this one just seems far too impractical. A wooden bayonet? It'd probably just break the first time you used it.
  10. Pretty sure these are confirmed, but not yet in the game because the current player controller would cause far too many problems with them.
  11. You're better off just keeping it in your clothes or backpack if you're going to make it out of rags.
  12. This will probably happen.
  13. This is confirmed, and the functionality is going to be expanded upon. Also, plenty more colors will be available.

Did you know the FAL actually has a grenade launcher option? It might be we'll see some attachments like that, too! This one also has a carry handle.

Yeah I can't wait to 360 quickscope with my leg holster and wooden bayonet.

Brilliant case of a major facepalm. Hardly useful infected, no threatening illness, hardly any survival mechanics, little usable items, a pointless melee system, but shitloads of ammo and different guns

So what does a game without essential elements need? For sure scopes, sights, holsters .... .. aaaaaaaaaaarg

Sorry, I already have calmed down now. But I'd love to see elements relevant to the game first instead of an expansion to the walking arsenals you guys are anyway.
