Remove "Number of players" column from server list, Reduce number of public servers

1. As long as the servers will show how many people are currently playing on them, there will always be "exploiting" (in my opinion it's simply cheating). What I mean is that people will go on a 0/50 server to find all gear with 0 pressure and 0 threat and then go on a high populated server with their high military gear and have advantage over those who are trying to find items there.

Also what is this? A magic knowledge from the universe telling you how many survivors are there with you? Is this supposed to be realistic or challenging? 

 

2. There's gorilion of servers, and  80% of them are empty or below 15 players.

 

3. Stop allowing people to host public servers, only host private servers. Public servers will only be a bunch of servers hosted by devs and/or other group chosen by devs. Let's say 5 public servers per time zone (5 for US East, 5 for US West, 5 for Europe West, 5 for Europe East etc etc...) The rest will all be private hives.

Yeah I can't wait to join an empty server when I'm looking for a full server. Good suggestion, 10/10.

 

Disallowing private servers has some merit, though. I have no problem with there being the official, public hive and then private hives. Perhaps the public/private could instead be renamed to the name of the hive? So there'd be 'official' 'Gents of Novo Hive' 'the tick dickler hive' 'n00bh4x hive' etc, etc. Servers that are not in a hive could be called 'private'. This would allow us to quickly identify hives without servers having to put the hive into the server name.

Yeah, remove the fun aspects of the game, like knowing if there are people on your server, their names and while you're at it, remove communicating, seeing other players or why not just add a feature that just shows a screen that says "you are dead" when you log in.
