tux (DayZ) 325 Posted July 25, 2015 Personally, I don't think we'll get any sort of weather, beyond rain, temperature and wind, until modding is supported. Either all of the map should be snowy or none of it should be - I'm not interested in Minecraft-style biomes. Shall we have a desert area too? I would like to see a whole map that's snowy, though. I agree I would rather have a community alternative of the whole map including buildings and trees, than parts of Chernarus. But, I think snow coming down like a short flurry would be realistic and practical as part of weather (not textures), just no accumulation. And it looks beautiful when ported to A3So technically the guy retextured BIs map, so if they were so inclined then they could hire/buy the map from him. If your curious just Google Chernarus Winter.
