beentheredonethat 11 Posted July 21, 2015 Ok so I probably haven't played in about 4 months.I had about 143 hours in an was playing with a friend who had 4 to 5 hundred hours he knew the whole map and where everything was so I was kind of under his wing you might say.I don't have unlimited internet so I have to find some place to hook up and play.This is the first and only game I have ever played online,and I don't know what it is about this game it scares the crap out of me.I keep telling myself that its just a game thats not really me down there,so why is my heart racing and I want to dig a hole and hide in it.Thats what I love about it.So i'm going to go solo and try to hone my skills if I live long enough.I've never killed another player but have been killed mostly by hackers.So I am reading the forums I think it would be a good idea to play on private servers less hackers and hopefully more friendly players.For me it's going to be like starting all over again controls and everything.I'm really nervous.Oh yes and I plan on buying a box of depends that way when i crap myself I don't have to stop playing.....lol just keep on trucking.....any words of wisdom wecomed.....Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Read the status reports and follow the devs on twitter and trello. If you do not enjoy the current patch, take another break (which is smart). It has a safe zone that is pretty well respected and always has a few nice people inside that you can hang out and trade with if you are looking for safe interactions with others. However, you have to survive the journey to novo lolLike bio said, this isnt a great patch .57 so if you are frustrated with things just know they are continuing to improve many aspects of the game (central loot economy being one of the top priorities atm). There are much fewer zombies and loot is abundant since the resets pop all new loot every 4 hours.Welcome back and enjoy! beentheredonethat 11 Posted July 22, 2015 Yes thanks for the input,I did read about all the patches and such and Idid notice more things appearing in great quantity,so things were starting to change even then.I heard they changed the A I on the infected didn't know they were removed from the game.Hopefully 58 will smooth things out ,I have no complaints about the game my hat goes off to all who participate and develop the game,my part is easy I just purchase the game and play it you all are doing all the work to make it happen,so thank you.I'm not looking for an easy out,the challenge of survival is the core of the game whether it be pvp bleeding to death being a freshspawn and chased by ten guys with axes who want to eat you.Never understood why people ko freshspawns though,but it is Dayz need I say more. I only ask because I see people all the time cry 'hacker' when it's just desync or some other bug. Don't crap your pants. Just get off of your rear and use the bathroom once in a while. beentheredonethat 11 Posted July 23, 2015 I know it was hackers because I was in a building with another player we were prone on the floor nobody else was in the build we were not by any windows or doors because we kept hearing shots we were being shot through the walls and both of us died.Same situation second time shots being fired I crawled under one of the garage doors to the corner of the room prone.The only way anyone could shoot me would have been to crawl under the door into the same room,I was killed never seeing anyone.Maybe it is possible that it was lagitimate,but I doubt it.Anyway there was no way anyone could have seen us through the walls even if they knew we were there in the building,I think there were maybe four or five floors.This all happened about four or five months ago and I know a lot has been done to crack down on this so I don't know how it is now since I haven't had the oportunity to play.Anyway that would never stop me from wanting to play,just count your lumps and move on. beentheredonethat 11 Posted July 23, 2015 Thats good to hear maybe they just gave up or just got bored with it.Really how does anyone enjoy something if you cheat,or its just the fact that they can mess with you and you cant do anything about it in the game that is.I look forward to playing. Just Caused 423 Posted August 7, 2015 Somehow, hackers were able to teleport all stuff (zeds, players and vehicles) to their location. I was in Stary Sobor, got teleported back to hacker in between two Sobors on road. I fell on ground, didnt break leg, and like 10 zombies came on me. I killed them all, and somehow succeed to kill hacker ( he was mid-geared without gun ) by shooting him and while shouting GET REKT BIT*CH! 12/10 would laugh my ass of againIts not hard to play alone, I always play on servers with around 30 people, and I rarely die. If you want, you can join a lot of other groups if you dont like to be alone, but trust me, every living legend and proffesional player started building his skills alone. beentheredonethat 11 Posted August 8, 2015 played last two weekends never had any problems,played on high pop server 50 maxed,never saw another person in those two days that I played till my friend and I drove a truck into one of the major towns along the coast,I told him were going to die,he laughed said I know, we died.But yes I realize that I just have to force myself to play on high pop servers,its the only way i'm going to get better and deal with encounters.
