Enfusion + VBS3 = Winning?

Recommended Posts

There is a moderator here that owns VBS3 and had a very informative post on why it would never work in SA. But I think that statement was made before Enfusion was announced.

Will VBS3 work with Enfusion?

Please say yes

I believe the reason why it won't work is because VBS3 is now owned by a separate company and is VERY expensive, used mostly by Governments and Militaries for simulation.  Now they probably could use bits and pieces in Enfusion, but we won't know till they tell us or do it.

I'm not trying to be rude Frosti, but I don't understand what you mean. The graphics in that video do not look good at all. They aren't designed to. The video is just demonstrating procedural weather. It shouldn't take more than a crappy laptop to run that snow effect. Hell. The cell phone in your pocket could do it. The flakes are one dimensional definition-less objects. They might as well be paper.

Were you person here that owns VBS3?

No, that is orlok I believe, even then iirc he has an older version than 3.

PS : the horse reference is not an indication towards my fellow moderator.

I believe we'll see snow in the long run of DAYZ . I believe .

That would add so much to the game. Fighting off not only cold, but frostbite on exposed fingers if you dont have gloves/toes if you have poorly insulated or wet boots. Plus tracking game and people in fresh snow. Not to mention the lack of fresh food so youd be forced to save those cans and preserves in a stash for the winter months.
