IkaikaKekai 1957 Posted July 21, 2015 I believe the reason why it won't work is because VBS3 is now owned by a separate company and is VERY expensive, used mostly by Governments and Militaries for simulation. The graphics in that video do not look good at all. They aren't designed to. The video is just demonstrating procedural weather. It shouldn't take more than a crappy laptop to run that snow effect. Hell. The cell phone in your pocket could do it. The flakes are one dimensional definition-less objects. They might as well be paper. Fighting off not only cold, but frostbite on exposed fingers if you dont have gloves/toes if you have poorly insulated or wet boots. Plus tracking game and people in fresh snow.
