Really enjoying the update, despite the lack of loot persistence. I've been pretty excited to fin an SVD and give it a whirl but I'm not sure where t spawns. Has anyone found one? If so, where?

Or search at every popular sniper location in the game and it should save you a massive headache

directly north of cherno apartements was my favorite cherno countersniping spot, west of the big sniping hill in the woods of elektro was my second favorite, with the most kills by far

 

sniping the snipers is to much fun not to do it <3

What I think is impossible to find is a sewing kit, of any variety.

The SVD currently only spawns on server hopper corpses.

AFAIK SVD spawns at tanks aswell.

I thought I heard they spawn on car wrecks as well (humvees or something)?  I don't think they are restricted to helicopter crashes, though I can't confirm that.
