SweetFX for DayZ

Recommended Posts

you can make your game look like this without installing this.

For AMD cards, go to AMD Control Center > Video > Color  and adjust what you want.

I never really understood why people insist on pushing saturation up until it looks like a Cawa Doody montage but as DMent said - if you really want to do this you can easily adjust brightness, contrast and colour balance/saturation through NCP/CCC.

I'm kinda with Georgiy.

If need be, you could just chance everything through the NCP/CCC like Mos1ey said.. but if there is no risk of a ban from this SweetFX then why not just do that?

Will BattleEye ban you for using this?

If it helps you decide, I was falsely banned by BattlEye once (it was later lifted) and I was using SweetFX at the time.

I never really got a straight answer as to why I was banned.

Can't confirm for sure but I wouldn't risk it, especially when you can do similar things via your graphics driver with no risk.

Id be careful installing any mods for SA at this time. Until you get full confirmations from the Dev.'s that its approved.

Its not like arma series where we can mod, because its a platform. This is a Standalone product, with Anti cheat enabled. Doing so might ban you on the next ban wave.

Been using sweetfx with the SA since dec 2013(with arma 3 since the day it came out and arma 2 since 2010) numbers of bans thus far 0. As for those answering you can do the same in the controls for your respective graphics cards , no you can not get the same effects of sweetfx via a few limted sliders. The answer from the battle eye devs (unless its changed from 1 month ago ) is YES you can use the LATEST ONLY version of sweetfx...
