Next DayZ Sale?

A few of my friends want to get DayZ, but unfortunately it is too much for them, I am not complaining because I bought DayZ for $30 in the winter sale. But when do you think DayZ will come on sale again? I heard that in the summer sale dayz was like 75% off. Thanks

Dayz was never 75% off. It went up to $35 when the sale started and came down to the old $30 pricing.

Best bet would be to put on their wishlist and get notified when it comes down on sale.

Dayz is not being sold for full price while in alpha, it is currently discounted and will rise as the game progresses, Full price will come when the game is complete.

 

And as to it being immoral, i don't think so as long as the buyer is made fully aware of what they are buying into.

Well, 30-35 bucks is my view on full price. At least what I'm used to. Don't know about other parts of the world.

I hope they never put DayZ on sale, and that they increase the price to the double of what it is now. Only way to keep the cheaters away.

Not at all since you get the full game on release. If you had to pay again for the full version, then yes, it would be immoral.

I have my account set up to automatically import my Steam Wishlist and send me emails when games get discounted a certain amount. You can control when you get notified on a game-by-game basis, which is handy since some games I don't care about until they're significantly discounted and others I want to know about basically any discount.
