Wow... you got killed in postapocalyptic survival game by another player... They should have banned him :-D If it would be me and i had handcuffs i would handcuffed you and teased you probably. Then maybe killed. This is game, you cand do what you want. For example sometimes Iam good and change with other player some thing or give him something. And sometimes i try to kill.

So I'm inside a building way up at the top to sort through my stuff and log out without zombies. Before I did I hear a guy who magically found me... could be ESP hack but I have no way to prove it...

Anyways, we are facing each other and he did say "hey buddy..." or something like that. I don't have a weapon pointed at him and worried that it takes too long to use the talk key without threatening him... I think of turning my back to him to show I'm not a threat before I talk to him......

mother fucker shoots me in the back....

what was the point of the guy even talking to me if he shoots me in the back?

Maybe he was that cop in Albuquerque?

Its such a fail tactic to try to punch someone and take there stuff. When I 1st started playing, like were talking like my 1st couple of nights, I would try doing that. Its was because I really didn't know what I wad doing at the time.

Last night I was with 3 people on top a hill. A random fresh spawn spawned in right next to us, he then attempted to attack one of our team mates. He as quickly shot dead. I had a ghillie and hidden in a bush. Suddenly I heard thump...knocked out. My team mates then killed him again sent him tumbling down the hill. At this point I said lets log out and leave this server. As we logged out the person spawned in again and killed one of our teammates as he was logging out. What a ass hat who ever that was. Not even a good hacker, and horrible player. Even with hacks this person died twice. He did succeed at wrecking our fun and causing me to lose confidence in the game. But we just kept playing.

Not sure why people feel they need to do that. It ruins the game for anyone who really try's to play. My theory is they do it out of frustration and desperation. So they resort to hacking and fail tactics. They are sub par players that are legitimately resentful towards players that take the time to learn. Similar to a person who smashes out a window on a nice car. Its player hate n at its worst lol

It's kind of an unspoken rule in Dayz where if you do not respond when spoken to, you die. Been that way for a long, long time now.

I've never even been spoken to, just murdered on sight for the most part.  One time I came face to face with a guy, he had a rifle in hand and I had nothing in hand.  I decided to hold my hand up in a "hi, whats up" kind of gesture (I don't have a mic), he didn't shoot me so I assumed I managed to find a chill person, so I continued my looting.  Went in a shed, came out the other side still unarmed because I didn't feel like being in a gunfight, the dude was there waiting.  We stare at eachother for a little bit, then he shoots me in the face.

Cool dude, you shot a unarmed person while you were fully geared and didn't need any more loot.  Must've been awesome.

I typically do shoot people who don't respond, heck even a text chat would suffice, but to me, if your not going to respond, a simple, "Hello" or something along those lines, would be ok.

It's the people I run into, say hello to, and they continue like no ones even there, that I gun down.

I don't care how you play, hero, bandit, survivor, sniper, lone wolf, or devout clan member....whatever.I don't care whether you make contact 1st or just kos people. Its all part of the game, it has its place. But clear hacking and exploitation of the game is just low, to wreck peoples fun is pretty lame.

When I first started playing I had no mic and was constantly gunned down for no communication. I think it's a fear thing, fear that you're relaying positions/information to possible groups/clans. I generally kill anyone who doesn't respond, but there have been a few times people have replied in /direct chat and it's saved their lives.

I have no cares to give at all, if someone doesn't talk to me in game.

LOL, seriously? Catch feelings because someone did not have or use a mic?

I'm not likely to kill anyways, but certainly not for that reason. I'm a little salty as I did not have a mic either when I started, and I am aware of how many people are hurt because someone didn't acknowledge their presence in the game.

LOL tough guys

People without mics can't be trusted. Anyone serious about the game will have and use a mic. Personally I won't kill a guy simply for not having a mic, but I will try to leave the area or tell him to leave the area immediately. I do understand its a risk but sometimes you scare people coming up on them and they can't immediately find the mic key.
