I've taken 4 loot runs to nw airfield and still no chainsaw,cleaver,hunting knife,hockey stick,prison uniform,pistol suppreser,mp5k new attachments(I know they've added a couple new ones),anti slab vest, crushed cans,and sword.

So far all I've found were the new bomber jacket and dress,cooking tripod, new seeds and that's about it. I've passed through so many places still none of these items have appeared to me and my steam friends so if you have found any of them plz can you tell me were you've found it. Thanks.

Everyone has the same idea as you. Try looking in places that don't attract so many people.

I found a doable 3 castle run that I do on occasion and I've still not found one either!

I've been unable to find a sword, a flare (gun canister), and crushed cans as well. I think I've seen just about everything else though. It does seem to be that some items are just not spawning in large numbers... or they are spawning in very particular places that I'm not looking. Oh well, it's not like a sword is something I NEED on this game :p

I have found hockey sticks more than I wanted too. Also, I have found 3 swords so far since 0.52 stable release.

I was succecfly able to find one hockey stick and I saw a bandit w a anti stab vest(he killed both of my partners) I think loot is having problems again sometimes I find things I've left overnight on the ground and have 3 restarts in a server and still find it laying there the next morning(ive seen an mp5 k on the ground for about a week in gorka police station)

Anti stab vest has been in the game for a Long time ! Unless they removed it and brought it back ? But regardless I've found hockey sticks , anti stab vest, a sword, but that's it for the new items .. And these "crushed cans" weren't they only on experimental .52 ? I've found close to 2 dozen crushed cans on experimental and afaik they were one of those "Unicorn items" they removed when they pushed to stable ? I wanna find a chainsaw though :/ !

I do not think thats entirely necessary, folks will talk about chainsaws and hockey sticks if they feel inclined.  On topic, keep in mind your playing DayZ everything you want you never find, just convince yourself you arent looking for it and they will pop up everywhere in front of you ;).

ok its been pretty odd on how I haven't seen a single one yet(I've played on a server that just restarted and I was only one on for about 4 hours looted all of nw, myshikino, vybor mil base, kamensk mil base,sevogrand, and nova I started in myshikink btw. Even through all that looted nothing I looted almost all to every building(slacked of a little in severograd though I looted important and large industrial spawns). I will try your advise I'll focus on finding my first to come heli crash instead of looted all of dubky looking for a cleaver but I got one question for you have YOU found any of the new items like swords chainsaws.
