Tatanko 5591 Posted December 6, 2014 Last night the DayZ Colony Server hosted what was called the "Scamp Family Carnival." There was drinking, fisticuffs, fortune telling, and all sorts of goings-on. It was quite a good time. The best part? Strictly-enforced rule of no weapons at the door and security to keep it all in order. By far the largest gathering of friendly players I've ever been a part of on DayZ in nearly a year's time. All of this took place at the fairly new Mine at Kamensk. Great choice. Instead of starting another thread about it, do you mind if I do like Weyland and add my screenshots of the event here?? Arriving at the mine. Tight security enforced so everything goes smoothly. People chatting while cooking food. Encountering Snake who's enjoying some coolness and humidity from the cave's rocky floor. (Insert your best Gollum impression.) Getting to the deepest part of the mine to get my fortune told. "Submissiveness can further one in achieving miner things. It is good to assist a powerful leader with a great goal." Thank you great fortune teller! Weyland can be our leader, and the great goal is set. I'll assist our great leader at the best of my capacities! We then had a strange issue with one of the participants. He somehow got "stuck" in the cave wall. :o But after a lot of effort from other attendees, we managed to break him free from his rocky prison! I'll be honest, there was some drug and alcohol abuse in some parts of the mine. Everyone had his little thing to get them in the mood. :P The great fortune teller has to get his inspiration and meditation from something! Fortune teller was then stoned as a rock! :D We then enjoyed some nice music, dancing and talking in good company. Overall a very fun night!! Can't wait for the next carnival!
