How do I tell what server I was on?

I've been playing several sessions on a server, I don't remember the name, so I just hit "Play" from the main menu. I want to save it to my favorites, but have no clue what it is.  I seem to recall discussion of a file in Steam that can be opened which will give you the last server IP. I've never been successful finding it. Can anybody help me?

 

And yes, I've tried searching, but the terms are very common and vague.

I've always used the History tab and hope that the server name jogs my memory when I see it.

Go to documents, open the dayz config folder with notepad that looks similar to: Irish.DayZProfile.

 

Scroll near the bottom, look for the IP listing and server name of last server you were logged into.

 

Profit.

My Docs/DayZ open the yournameDAYZPROFILE folder and scroll down to near end and look :

 

lastMPServer="ip here";
lastMPServerName="server name here"

So I just looked and all I have is:

 

lastMPMission="DayZ_Auto"

 

I'm assuming this may have to do with clicking "Play" on the main menu - which I did in attempt to join the last server. However, I did it too early after restart and it sent me to the server browser.

Steam will also tell you.  It keeps track of who you play with too, by server.
