My best revenge encounter was quite awhile ago. Me and a buddy were at Vybor military compound, and spotted a guy moving through there fast. We followed him out the wall, but he got way ahead of us. My friend stood in the shed outside the south wall watching him run off to the east. I moved over towards the hill to see if I could get a better view. I think my friend took a pot-shot at the guy, then started taking fire back. Suddently my friend told me over TS that he had been killed. I then saw the other guy coming back towards my friend's body. As I lost sight of him in the shed I saw a SECOND, previously unseen guy heading towards the shed too. As he went in I decided to move closer and cap these guys. That's when I saw yet another guy run into the shed. My heart was beating heavily in my chest, my throat was dry. I didn't know if I could take on three guys, but I had surprise on my side. I walked up to the side of the shed, avoiding the opening where they would be able to see me. I readied my AKM, and side-stepped into the opening. I could see all 3 of these guys, standing over my friend's body looting him. I capped all of them, they never had a chance to raise their weapon towards me. I hope the idiots learned a valuable lesson about keeping somebody on watch while looting a corpse.

It looks like the summer camp I ran across north of Novoya Petrovka, But that's the only one I've come across, didn't know there were others.

I noticed the same thing, the crash sites don't move. But I did find loot as Gunslinger63 said...the loot does NOT respawn though. EDIT: logged back into server AFTER Wed maintenance. Exact same helo crash site with exact same loot. They're taking this "persistence" a little too far...

If the server admin changes the server type back to 3pp/1pp there's a chance your tent will still be there. I've changed my server back and forth before and the persistence sticks for both types. But then again, throw the Wed reset into the mix, and it does decrease your chances.

Maybe due to the recent start of Daylight Savings Time in the US?

Me and some friends had the unfortunate luck of catching the prion disease even though we fully cooked the meat and only did it once. All 3 of us got it. When we started hearing the moaning we were really freaked until we figured it out. I was kinda glad when my char finally took a bullet.

I've been playing several sessions on a server, I don't remember the name, so I just hit "Play" from the main menu. I want to save it to my favorites, but have no clue what it is. I seem to recall discussion of a file in Steam that can be opened which will give you the last server IP. I've never been successful finding it. Can anybody help me? And yes, I've tried searching, but the terms are very common and vague.

I will occasionally activate a chemlight randomly as I pass through looting, just for the hell of it.
