a_ruttle 199 Posted November 7, 2014 A headshot with an axe on an unarmoured head is fatal, Gunshots can be very meh, I got shot at by 3 guys, 1 with an AKM and 2 with Mosins or CR527s or something at pretty close range, I ran away from them and my hunting backpack 'absorbed' at least 3 rounds, I lost a little health but no blood/bleeding and no KO. Ended up killing two and wounding the third with just a double barrel, Putting myself in their shoes I can see how annoying that would have been. They were terrible shots though. What could of happened was you could of been slightly injured or low on blood or heath, and you might of shot him in a non-vital place (arm, leg) and he could of been fully healthy, energized and hydrated, and could of hit you straight in the noggin. Kirby12352 67 Posted November 7, 2014 Action movies and a lot of video games have kind of warped people's views of the amount of damage a gunshot wound does. Sure, in real life the majority of torso shots will stop a guy from continuing the attack, and most headshots will either kill the guy, or kill him soon after being shot. But depending on where a guy in real life is hit, he can still keep fighting. It's not always like how it is in the movies where a guy gets shot a random point on his torso and dies instantly. An axe, on the other hand, is a different story. I know if I had an axe smashed into my chest or my stomach I probably wouldn't be very motivated to keep fighting, assuming it didn't kill me first, which it probably would. If the guy hit you in the arm or something with the axe you probably wouldn't die unless you had already lost a lot of blood. But if he hit you right in the face with it, you're done for. It's usually the same with a bullet to the head, but it sounds like you didn't hit him in the right spot to kill him. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
