It's true we were in the church, we were asking the divine one questions like "why would someone take shots at us then combat log when we return fire" or "why does DayZ crash when there is a Zed on us allowing it to take our life" or yet still "why would the game allow someone to spawn in the same room as me?"

 

You "literally" caught me with my pants down, funny thing is reflecting back on it combat logging like someone did just minutes before never crossed our minds...I guess sportsmanship means more to us than some pixels.

  I agree wholeheartedly about the sportsmanship Punisher, your initial contact is a coward and is very lucky he escaped you.  Our squad was indeed responsible for the coup de grace but your initial contact in the mountain pack was a separate operator.  We were en route to rendezvous with one of our guys nearby when we heard the shooting and closed in.  

 

  While we do not have clan tags, our names do not change and we do not combat log as the previous weeks engagements have shown.  If one of ours ever tried to log in a fight, he would be shamed off of teamspeak for life.

 

  I appreciate you putting the vid up, I got a kick out of seeing it from your perspective!  This was by no means a major tactical victory for us, you were merely a target of opportunity and from the looks of it still reeling from a scrape before we arrived.

 

  Soon the server files will be made available and administrators will be able to discern what spineless bitches DO combat log ( I can hardly wait ) and you can ban them from the private shard.  Be careful however because while we were engaged with you above Zel by the chopper crash one of FOG "lost connection" while being chased and I am almost positive it was a "DayZ stopped working" crash because within 2 minutes he logged back in knowing he was going to die...which of course he did.  This bug is known and a royal pain in the ass when it happens in inopportune times such as those!!

 

  Lastly, thanks for hosting this server.  The competition is not only fun but it keeps our squad sharp and well rehearsed.  Having another cohesive unit in the territory keeps people from getting lax on security and keeps their heads in the game of survival.

I only wish I had been able to participate in the engagement, but unfortunately my time was spent B-lining back to Novy when all of this went down.

That was actually Milk who's DayZ crashed by the chopper above Zeleno the other night.  Were you the 3 guys our group killed about 15 minutes after that?

 

Right before we met Blunce's Dayz crashed and a Zed killed him.  I went into the church and dropped my gear to pick his up and put it somewhere I thought was safe.  Did your guy with the waterproof backpack spawn in while I was disrobing?

 

I believe we spotted your group last night close to the Vybor military base, consider this an "invitation" to drop by and say "hi" later this evening...we want to get the M4 back, LOL

 

One more quick question, how do you guys feel about us turning off persistence Tuesday night and turning it back on Wednesday night like we did?

Yes that was us, we caught eyes of the first boy on the crash straight away and put him down, milk was second.  I engaged the two extracting north toward kabanino hitting one and splitting the group up. the injured headed north to the slaughter house the second back south into the tree line where he bagged two of ours moving to intercept.  We got the third in that tree line just after he bagged one of ours flanking east up to the trees....he was damn sure dug in there like a tick but in the end he met his fate.  Whomever was driving the truck seemed to have left or didn't engage and we couldn't find him before it got too late for us working stiffs to continue hunting.  Sloppy on our part, should have been a much better result.  Props to the boy in that tree line, he held his own for quite a bit.

No, wasn't our boy.  Pisses me off too because we had eyes on and I have no idea how his dayglo ass escaped not only YOU but us as well because we had the perimeter secure pretty quickly after we heard the shots...within 2 minutes.

Yeppers, we go where the action is....exploding gas stations are an universal invitation to a barbecue are they not???  The M4 has been named, taken on a date and I will be damned if that boy hasn't already made plans for the honeymoon...you mean to break hims ittle heart don't ya???

I can only speak for myself, I like it.  It serves two purposes in my mind.  It not only adds the fun and adventure of looking for birds BUT also adds to the culling of hoarded loot.  KNOWING once a week that the countless little stash spots will be wiped will not allow groups like yours and ours to sit on our laurels and need to keep inventory of quality items stocked.  This answer surprises me to be honest because after I actually weighed the pros and cons of it, I think overall it will have a positive effect for server performance as well.  Originally I was a bit miffed that my nest egg was gone but after further review I would stick with it...I love hunting choppers though so I am horribly biased truth be told!  The only "end around" that I can see to this opinion is the backpack within a backpack deal.  This will allow everything except guns (sans the mp5, sawed off, 74u and pistols) to be saved so I don't see an answer to that until the devs fix it.

I have never recorded...our TS is a bit salty and not much for the kiddies if you know what I mean.  I really would like to however.   We have played since the release of the mod and are primarily a bunch of older guys employing military strategy and tactics to survive.  We never hunt bambis but well geared and organized squads because there is not only honor in it, but MUCH more fun!!  Had we recorded some of our exploits I would love to be able to look back and view them as just the oral "war stories" of our conquests leave me in stitches.  I would of course share them as well as long as no tactical information that could be used against us in theater were revealed...that could of course be edited I am sure....what recording service do you guys use?

Heheh, twas me. Me and ADIC were looting you guys and then he left. I stayed and had to log to fix my compass. Logged back in, ran 10 feet across the field and got dropped. LOL! Good times though!

Oh lawd, you should hear ours.. Its like a cross between what you would hear on the set of an adult film, in the bathroom at a gay bar, and the darkest confession booth in all of Catholicism. 

 

I use shadowplay as well as most of our clan that uses Nvidia cards.. and I hear you on giving too much away. I had to give up one of my best spots in the game when I released a video, but the video was worth it.

Sometimes when I lone wolf I just stalk.  Sometimes when I stalk I patiently track my prey.  Sometimes I am rewarded with 3 hunter bags 5 akm 1 mosin 1 ak74 and 1 ak74u.  First person is the only way to play this game realistically.  Thank you for having the balls to play this game the way it was meant to be played!!

That was the FOG clan last night in Novo.  We heard there were man eaters in the area and wanted to see if it was true.  We rolled in with a couple of trucks, instead of finding purple people eaters we found a bunch of car jackers.  Well we at FOG don't take to kindly to people stealing our rides so we had to deal out some swift justice.

Yes you can make a ghillie suit, we have one member with a full suit and a few others with with parts of them.  Careful when looking for the netting because it's a popular item to find.
